The problem with those thinking when they have this thoughts waiting for dip to buy is they provably might stress out waiting for that situation then provably might miss some opportunity to accumulate until they get scared to do proper thing and not to buy at that day or on next following because they maybe think that this is still not perfect time to buy. If they sum all of that decision they made they could figure out that they are delaying everything. I have a slight disagreement with one of your sentences. think it would be better for beginners not to have a mandatory requirement for a backup fund at least for those who are just starting out with Bitcoin and are feeling lucky enough to have a small fraction of their holdings. Shitcoin is shitcoin no matter what people say about them. Also your statement can be misleading to newbies for them to think that Etherum is good to invest in, which is not true. Only bitcoin is unique and has the power to transform your purchased bitcoin overtime into something of big value, because it's still growing and is a store of value and a hedge against inflation.

Newbies should only invest in bitcoin with part of your discretionary income every week consistent and persistent DCAing for 4-10 years and above.
