I don't think they have enough compactness and chemistry to turn this to their advantage. That was often a feature of Pep's teams. They either crush the opponent, but very rarely make a spectacular comeback.

Manchester City with Pep management usually control their match, have very high ball possession so if they let opponent score first, they have mass difficulty to comeback. Because before a conceded goal, they usually dominate the match, but fail to create enough chances and score goals, hence it's more difficult to do it after getting a conceded goal. Their opponent will have more motivation to defense more seriously and build a bunker to block Manchester City attacks more effectively.

I don't think Pep will leave because of one unsuccessful season, he has won everything there is to win with this club and is the most successful in MC history. And this is an excellent opportunity to prove himself as a great coach, to rebuild the team considering that this one is already quite worn out.

To be honest, I also really like the idea of the highest multiplier. You just have to somehow ensure that there is no cheating here ("Chatgpt, generate me a picture of a xxxxx multiplier from whale.io").
I don't play such games and therefore don't know: Are the personal high scores/results of the last games saved on whale.io? This would make it relatively easy to prevent cheating.

Otherwise, it's actually a very good idea and will definitely increase traffic from people registered on Bitcointalk!


For me, as someone who prefers to bet on sports, you could also introduce a competition there, e.g. the highest odds won per week or the biggest successful combination bet!

Chelsea is certainly a possibility, but I would rather bet on a club like PSG.
There were already rumors around Mbappe's extension in 2022 that PSG's next big target was to sign Pep Guardiola, but he then decided to extend his contract with ManCity.

Guardiola has already worked with some of the best players in the world, which could help him manage PSG's often ... "difficult" ... stars.

As just a suggestion of mine, there's no specific game for the higher wins and multiplier as long as the players can provide the screenshot I guess which can be seen too at the same time on the "My biggest wins" and the number of participants entries will be accumulated and announce the final winner into a particular date range. It is ideal if they could provide the game tag as proof simultaneously, but it seems Whale has it on their backend.

As I have already written above, there are also many ways to implement such competitions in sports betting. Starting with quite simple "Who has won the bet with the highest odds in the last 2 weeks" to "Who has won the highest number of multibets" to "Who has had the longest winning streak with odds over 1.5", there are a number of variants that are fun and would encourage people to bet on Whale.io just for that reason.

Talking about Manchester City, they have one of the toughest matches for that season on champion League today, they are going head to head against Real Madrid and for sure if you check both clubs' performances this season you will know that it going to be a tough game and the Manchester City coaches as you mentioned have to win this game by all means considering his current state in the club.

This should not be a problem at all. I would exclude newbies from participation unless they can somehow prove they should be eligible (like an alt account from an established member). Then they would only have to check the winners and this should be no deal. Many contests work like that. See all the multiplier contests, I participate in the CasinoPunkz.io contest. Sometimes they have replay links, but sometimes they don't. Then a screenshot with BET ID does the deal and verifying two or three entries is quickly done.

I don't think fake screenshots are a problem, only if some newbie posts them, it would be suspicious. Other than that, not really. And at the end of the day, if it is a suspicious account, Whale.io could still go for KYC.

True. Also with such a small list it's not impossible to be one of the winners, my own experience.
