If you ask me, I think some enhancement was used here, like an AI tool. I don’t have any evidence, but if you examine the image you uploaded, they look different.
The bitcoin logo looks really different and the the lines of the logo changes. Also, you didn’t provide any proof of how you created that Bitcoin logo. To me, it really looks AI generated on the part of bitcoin logo.

I hope you're not using AI here to cheat, because if you are, someone from DT will definitely tag your account for cheating. Hope @icopress consider checking this entry if AI or not.

I also noticed that it's AI-ish, especially the logo which changes shapes and doesn't look baked at all.

You are right, of course it is being shown as if it was done by artificial intelligence. I justified it at the beginning but I didn't understand it well at the time.
Normally, no one would be able to make a pizza so perfectly, especially the Bitcoin logo in the middle of the pizza, which is really unusual. Moreover, the top of the pizza looks like a digital painting, just like food photography, which looks completely unusual.
Overall, the Bitcoin logo he created looks completely AI-generated.

I found a few similarities between his pizza and the Bitcoin logo, which I'm mentioning here is a direct match between the two Bitcoin logos.


Moreover, such a Bitcoin logo can be created with AI, I used AI to test it where the same Bitcoin logo was used, so here it can be confirmed many times that the Bitcoin logo between the @Derekfunds pizza was probably created by this AI or edited quite accurately.

The Bitcoin logo on @Derekfunds' pizza is completely identical to the Bitcoin logo on AI, with about a 90% similarity to the logo.
Anyway, if Derekfunds really made the pizza himself, he must have collected more pictures to prove that it wasn't an AI. If he shares more of his pizza making process here, we can be sure, @icopress will definitely look into this.

These were the first pizza I did and it was not looking good and pleasing to my eyes and since it was a contest, I wanted to make it look more presentable to the eye and so I redesigned the Logo and I told my friend to use his camera to snap it but i don't know the camera and filter he used that makes the picture look so bright to the point they are accusing me of using AI.

You guys has tried checking the picture but AI doesn't give a definite answer because it is not AI but the filter and the camera is making it look like ai, but you can still go ahead and check again. But I want to let everyone know that, this pizza is not pizza.

Finally, the pizza that I made with the help of my wife and children was also finished.
Making Pizza for the "Bitcoin Pizza Day 2025" contest this time seems to be more fun and Also not only About the pizza I made,

I didn't want to overshadow the holiday, so I didn't cook the pizzas myself. This year, 2 pizzas cost me 0.00005405 BTC, and it turned out to be less than last year for 2 pizzas - 0.00008571 BTC.

This is my 3rd year participating or more precisely enlivening pizza day here because apart from the prizes or competitions, I just want to make this fun by enlivening something that has become an annual culture for bitcoin because pizza seems to always be remembered every year for bitcoin.

It doesn't feel like a year has passed, because I feel like the Bitcoin pizza contest happened a few months ago, but it turned out to be a year ago. But anyway, I am very happy that this bitcoin pizza contest is being held again this year, because holding this bitcoin pizza contest makes us remember the history of the first time bitcoin was used as a transaction tool. So this contest is indeed very important for the bitcoin lover community.

And I would like to thank Sportsbet.io and also Icopress for organizing this contest. Hopefully, in this edition of the bitcoin pizza contest, a very great bitcoin pizza will be born.

And as usual, I also made my own pizza, although the results were beyond my expectations, but I am satisfied with the results. And this is my work.

You can't have a level playing field anyway. I mean, if somebody is shooting with a proper DSLR and somebody with a cheap Android, there will always be this advantage. People with good skills in photography as well. I understand the wider perspective of @icopress's decision. Now we have to accept the fact that this is not only about making good pizza but presenting it well in a digital world, there is no way around it.
However, I believe in the judgment of people that they will surely consider this while giving votes. 
Obviously, there is a fine distinction between playing within the rules and cheating,  which I am sure the manager will take care of.

If the competition is based on baking a pizza, then photograph quality should not detract from the quality of the entry. If the competition is to bake a pizza and present it with filters, enhancements and AI enhancements then that is a different matter. It is great to read differing opinions

You can't have a level playing field anyway. I mean, if somebody is shooting with a proper DSLR and somebody with a cheap Android, there will always be this advantage. People with good skills in photography as well. I understand the wider perspective of @icopress's decision. Now we have to accept the fact that this is not only about making good pizza but presenting it well in a digital world, there is no way around it.

And this was the Exact reason why I chose not to edit or enhance the photos of my pizza before entry/submission, despite the fact that I'm pretty good with photo editing/colour enhancement.

Have you seen pizzas cooked in frying pans? Or just in plates? I will not judge anyone; everyone does what they have and what they can do. However, voting one way or another turns into a personal priorities. Most people vote for their own. And it does not matter whether the photo is edited or not.
The motto is one: the main thing is to participate. I would even close my eyes to the alternatives; and let it remain fun.
And yes, for those who are trying to stick to a healthy diet, it is better just not to participate, but also not to watch, because sometimes it is really tasty. Your HEAL rules won’t be able to withstand the temptation to buy yourself a pizza.

The main thing is that it turns out delicious. Participation is just a reason to overcome your laziness and cook it yourself (when you can buy pizza for every taste at every step). And the prize money is a nice bonus for the most creative and inventive. I would also like to add that this is a kind of ritual to honor an event that happened many years ago, as a kind of tribute to memory and gratitude. Therefore, this competition should not be missed. The time will come when Pizza Day competition will go far beyond this forum and then you will tell that you took part in the very early stages. I want to believe it.

Pizza can be healthy food, why not. If you select high-quality ingredients and eat it not every day.

Unfortunately, we have to accept that there is no way we can tell the difference (or let's say articulate the difference to be more precise) between what is enhanced and what is not and upto what extentent. Obviously, you can tell if it is totally fake but let's say it's 20% enhanced with popped colors and other refinements for extra sharpness, can you articulate the difference?
We can't make rules for which we have very few enforcement capabilities, this will only going to benefit more to people whom you are trying to stop as they are the ones who know how these detection works and up to what extent.
We could have opted for a short video but then there are other concerns much more important than this event.
In this context, I was saying that we should leave these things to the fair judgment of people and the manager. All we can do is comment about certain pizzas which makes us uncomfortable  , but we have to be careful as this will affect the voting for sure and if I am not wrong it already did.
Anyway, people have different kitchen equipment (as per their financial status) this should not be allowed in principle if we are talking about a level playing field so we have to ignore filters as well. Achieved skills must play a dominant role in the contest not the acquired one.

I keep thinking about the same thing every year when looking at submissions for this contest:

Are you guys trying to make an omelet, bake a cake, or make pizza?
Eggs and milk are not used to make pizza dough.

Pizza can be healthy food, why not. If you select high-quality ingredients and eat it not every day.

Healthy food is in fact something you can eat every day. For instance oatmeal - you can eat it every single day.
If you admit that pizza is something you shouldn't eat daily, it's not healthy. That said, unhealthy food is usually the one that tastes best
