How it everyone feeling during this altcoin crash?

FED meeting in 5 hours time, hoping we can see a pump in the market but part of me has a bad feeling. Fingers crossed.

If it is not certain then why be defensive at all? Although indeed that it is still better to be prepared in any situations. Anyways, yeah that the more we wait or expect, the more it can screw us. It is like there are people who watch us and mess with us. Maybe it is a good idea to do some faking? It is about time for us to screw them, hehe.

I think there are more people that expects that the price will rise if the price drops massively. Now at this very moment, the price had dumped but I think not too much. So, maybe a lot are expecting for it to drop more but that is good because that might give us an opposite move instead. Afterall, I think all still want an increase the most.

It might be naive to say this is a market crash because I think it's normal, but look at the psychology of speculative traders and users who buy memes. I'm sure if the asset drops 80% at a time like this it's not impossible to pull out and buy cheap ones in the hope of getting your money back. If you buy fundamentals you'll just relax and in a few days the price will go back to where you bought it. ETH, SOL and BNB and other strong coins.

I am still holding haven’t sold anything and actually bought quite a bit last few days for first time in a while.

It's no problem if you're still confidence to hold for a longer time. However, you must be careful that you may miss the chance to get the maximum profits in this cycle if you always keep holding your coins. There should be a time for the coins to reach its peak price, you don't miss the chance to sell them at the peak prices.

I don’t think we have many more of these dips left so thought I would top up some of my bags while they were cheap.

Why do you think in that way? It is always possible for the next big dumps. Today big dump is the real example of possible dips even if crypto has many good news after Trump is elected as US president. I'm sure many people feel surprised with this big dump. But we must remember that crypto is always unpredictable.

Well, it is great that you still have much funds to buy many coins during this big crash. Sure, there should be a bounce back, Bitcoin even already returns to $98k - $99k in a short time. It was around $91k - $92k but it bounces back in a short time.

Altcoins are falling very fast lately but we just have to wait for the better news to watch them pump up again just as fast.

My portfolio is currently +58% which isn’t terrible but did not expect it to go that low again having been +180% back in December.

Stay calm and await 200% and more. I would just put a target of 300% or so on the coins you hodl and sell them no matter what once the target is achieved.

This is crash is starting to feel like a bear market crash.

what happened tonight was a correction as a preparation for the price to increase significantly in the next few days. Whales also took advantage of the official release of future economic conditions and they also carried out selling actions so that prices were depressed and prepared to take cheap prices. Q1 is indeed not much different from last year.

Hopefully we have gone through the worst of it now , but if we have another drop it may only be a small one.

Either way I am happy to wait for our altcoins to recover.

Altcoins crash is one of the season I don't like seeing because a lot of asset worth billions got liquidated during this period, not only that, but it also renders many coins and tokens to dump and most of them at this stage struggles to rise and pump as to where they left, many traders to on loss while investors as well lose their assets as the bear continue to make the investors dump the coin, it's somehow disappointing but we can't do without it, even though with the expectations that many of them will rise back, but at the end, not all of them.

Its as been a tough month or so hasn't it.

I must admit i didn't realize we see crashes like this even in a peak bull run year.

For now I am just holding as i have not been investing in this space for almost 3 years now to give up.

I still think we will have an altseason, but looks like it may not come until the second half of this year now.

The highest my portfolio has been was +202% back in December, but is currently +48% after this very red February.

People are feeling good with their hodling right now op, because some people are use to bear run, and if the price of altcoins continue to remain low and they need money to do one or two things, no choice than to sell the altcoins to solve the problem. You can see that even the price of BTC is falling, which is the reason behind the crash of some altcoins in the market which I know some will still going to pump to cause their hodlers to earn profit.

I guess some altcoins hodlers will not going to sell their altcoins than to continue buying to add to the ones they have bought before to have big profits to earn when the price hit higher because all those potential altcoins are profitable.

Once we had the experience of altcoins in general crashing, then things go really bad with every investors on any kind, because they fall to a reasonable extent and some may not be able to manage it all to recover from the lost after which some of its investors had already taken their assets off the crypto market, some that can't afford to go for altcoins risk at this extent may only decide to select only few in addition to their investments in bitcoin.
