You are were wrong, I expected no cuts and I was right. I don't think you will see in Q4 what you expect to see either, unless there are massive rate cuts. From what I can see so far, they will need to fire the chairman first.

Lesson learned at least, will sell all my altcoins when we see some kind of altseason this year and then just be in Bitcoin for a few years.

The whole market has been held back by trump and his tariffs and in the last month by the war in Israel/Iran.

The FED Chairman said the other day rates would have been cut months ago had trump not introduced the tariffs.

The 2nd half of 2025 should be much better, rate cuts will come and thats when altseason will come. I am happy to wait till Q4 if i have to.

Less volume and demand trigger so many alts reached the new low despite Bitcoin's new high.

Don't wanna be skeitpcal toward market, but this is what is happening right now.

Currently +20% overall. But most of my alts r down I’m only up thanks to a few winners last year but least I’m up, that’s why it’s important to diversify and not put too much money into one altcoin.

It’s been a long 6 months so far of 2025 but surely the second half will be a lot better for us altcoin holders. I don’t think altseason we are waiting for will be as big as previous years but it should still be big enough for me to hopefully 4 or 5x my portfolio as I was almost 3x up on my portfolio back in the December pump so expecting altseason to be a lot bigger than that.

That's good. At least you're still in profit, though it's not as big as last year.

I see Bitcoin seems bullish atm, and alts get small green. Still hope something big to happen at the end of this year, but the bad thing is that we're getting closer to the Trump's deadline date for the tariff implementation.

The more people doubt about the altseason the better, the more people fear the better, so something big is going to happen to altcoins, people are not expected to be too optimistic, they have to get out first and we get in, that's the right sentence.

the scenario will be very difficult to predict and you may see a different story for the end of this cycle, so be patient, macroeconomics is just a double face on the way the market works.

Altcoins generally don't explode before BTC dominance falls, and right now the charts seem to be saying, calm down a bit, there's time. When it comes to altcoins, so much time has passed that people become numb to their investments. I'll continue to hold on, and spend my time trying to buy and sell during the intermediate increases. Let's see if there will be new activity in the market in a few months.

Yep all we altcoin investors can do is wait. My portfolio went from break even early November last year to +225% by mid December and it will do it again and more later this year once rate cuts happen and things with Trump and his tariffs get sorted , just basically when we have a good feel back as so far in 2025 the markets have really been held back up till now due to Trump and what’s going on in the world.

In me personally, especially for Altcoin, for me I have been throwing it for a long time, I am no longer interested in speculating Altcoin, for me just a waste of time.

I speculate, Altcoin is no longer in the interest of investors they will let Altcoin die in a time swallow and be discarded in the crypto market, different in 2010-2017 which has passed, At present there are hundreds of altcoin who have died like they don't have their master anymore, let it be buried over time.

In regarding about these kind of fundamentals then we can definitely say that this will be that become possible on which it will be neither be that happening or not. It would be always having that kind of possibility in terms of these happenings on which it could be that definitely be having that kind of potential situation that could lead up with that market u-turn of events. There are those people who do made out some investment with altcoins and since we do know that the market is that very unpredictable on which we cant be able to tell nor determine on when it would be making out such huge movement. Always be considerate about these probabilities on which there are those who chance that it could make out such situation and on which you should be that prepared on hitting it out. Whenever the market would be able to make out some crash then it would be just that typical that it do made out such correction because it is just that normal because these are the normal movements on which a market could really have. If you arent that good when it comes to positioning yourself whether you would be neither be buying or selling then you would be having a hard time for you to be able to take a grasps on how this market works. The most important stuff on here is that you do know on what you should gonna do and dont let yourself that being dragged when it comes into that emotional impulsiveness on which it could be that resulting into that sudden change of decisions or opposite on what you had planned. Applying out some analysis is never been that simple specially on sticking into it and seeing the market to have that different variations. Very well, patient and luck are two important factors in altcoins market success, most of the time altcoins season comes when we least expect them to happen, so we need to just try as much as we can to position ourselves in such a way that when the opportunity comes, we will definitely be in the position to also benefit from the market, but for now, we need to relax and take steps.

XRP just hit a new all time high, ETH outperforming Bitcoin , things are looking good just hopefully it can last.

Remember to take some profits along the way. The portfolio increase doesn't matter unless you take some of the profits. As an example, in the morning the altcoins were at a much better prices but during the US session, we are experiencing bitcoin falling to 117K levels and thus most altcoins are down too. Luckily, I booked some profit in the morning so if it dumps a bit more, i may again take the entries.

The thing to look at is the total market cap excluding BTC and ETH. Currently it has surpassed the 1 trillion dollar and is at the resistance. If it is able to keep it above this level, we may see more pump in altcoins in coming days and weeks.

Time for another update, my portfolio is currently +55% , and still 100% altcoins.

I don’t plan to have any Bitcoin until this bull run is over, now is not the time to be in Bitcoin with it now Ethereum season and altseason in the next 6-8 weeks.

ETH hit $4k a few hours ago which is great but we need it to get above it and hold for us to start getting excited for our altcoins.

Its been a long few years buying and holding, but hopefully we only have another 3-4 months left of this cycle and I can finally cash out some decent profits in Q4.

The recent incident in the market was the largest liquidation in crypto history, which we have never seen before, it was around $19 billion. Recently, we saw a famous crypto influencer Konstantin Galich commit suicide due to a loss of $10 million.
And right now, Bitcoin is struggling to recover and I see all altcoins except the top tier altcoins in the same position. I doubt that such a crash could be a signal of a bear market breakout.

55% is not enough for me to cash out, it might sound greedy to some but my portfolio hit a high of around +140% December 2024 so I’m expecting it to at least go back to that level again before we enter a bear market.

What we have seen last 48 hours has been pure manipulation, my altcoin portfolio went from +50% to less than break even in just an hour or so. I didn’t panic, bought some cheap while it was low and it’s now back at +35% again currently.
