Tottenham is one of the teams in the top 16 this season, they are one of the teams considered to be able to compete for the championship title. but I don't know how far they will be able to survive, because they have repeatedly failed in a competition. Tottenham have no good history in this competition and Tottenham too seems to be cursed because for years Tottenham never able to gets the trophies and the opponents for them on round of 16 hasn't decided yet this because Europa league will through an playoff stages first but my prediction for Tottenham is they will not get the trophy even possibly Tottenham will be eliminated early before reach to the final match

Manchester United winning the Europa league, a good path to qualify for the UEFA Champions League next season. They will continue in their consistent streak winnings in Europa league which doesn't serve any shocking odds rather enabled them to gain their ground. They will be in Europa League final, their odds gets tightened based on the performing results they generates. Ruben Amorim reputation as manager is about to skyrocket to the prominent angle.

To achieve that target, Amorim needs to stabilize his squad's performance in the long term as soon as possible because in the round of 16 and beyond they will face difficult matches, if you compare their performance in two different events they seem more focused on this competition but it would be nice if they also improve their position in the Premier League. For me, if Man Utd can show a more impressive performance in the European league, I still believe they can advance to the final. If Manchester United can win in the European league competition, it will indeed be a big surprise for all of us. Because with his current performance not being good in the English league, it would definitely be a happy thing for Manchester United fans if they could win the UEL trophy. They will be beaten in the game. I just hate to see how weaker teams that have big names will be favorable in all competition.

The bad journey experienced by the team in their respective leagues will not determine the results in the Europa League and vice versa the good journey they get in their respective leagues will not provide a much greater opportunity to win the trophy. The journey of the previous season may be enough for an assessment where Leverkusen had to admit Atalanta's greatness in the final and vice versa for this season because several teams that are considered to have performed poorly in their respective Leagues actually performed well in the Europa League. Tottenham must make big changes this season if they want to compete for the trophy because there may be many teams who will do the same in the fight for the trophy.

All hope is not lost though, if only the coach can work on the team for a better performance, winning the trophy is possible.

Despite Tottenham poor performance they managed to advance to the 4th position in  europa league first stage of the competition based on points gathered. I presume their inconsistency wasn't reflected much in the Europa unlike their domestic league. But being in the top 16 is already a ticket for the round of 16 which will start another round of the competition after the playoffs stage.

I am expecting Tottenham to build up properly so they can take up their opponents and conquer each stage so they draw nearer to the finals. I won't want to compare their performance to that of last season because things change and the structure of the competition last season Is not the same as this. If they can add a little effort to their inconsistency they will eventually go far in the competition.

Just like Manchester United, I don't think Tottenham Hotspur have any chance of winning the English Premier League title this season so it's expected that they'll be giving their best in the UEFA Europa League competition if they truly wants to win a trophy this season. They've been one of the best teams in the competition so far but now that they're in the round of 16, the expectations I think have further increased and for them to live up to expectations, they must approach each game like it's a major final.
Ange Postecoglou recently said he always wins trophies in his second season in a club and since this is his second season with the North London club, he might be ending their trophy drought by lifting the UEL trophy at the end of the season.

This was a very tough game between the pair in the weekend, a game that was highly anticipated by football lovers and some proportion of fans thought it would have been an easy win match for Porto because Sporting has not being the-same since Amorim’s departure but the away team proved to be a tough opponent against all odds to share points in the game, finishing in a draw. If not for the red card conceded by Sporting maybe they would have been able to secure their one goal lead till the end of the game.
