The ups and downs of a team's performance are very natural, I agree with that. But in Tottenham's case, they are not only up and down, but never up, but can only decline. If Tottenham and Manchester United were to play the finals, I think Tottenham will win it as Tottenham has been able to win some games that I thought they'll lose this season. Manchester United aren't focus enough although they have managed to qualify for the knockout stages of the Europa league and they have to know now that anytime that they play badly, they'll be removed from the competition as the knockout stages aren't where you come to play. You'll have to win all your games to keep progressing and I don't think Manchester United have that in them. With current performance? honestly I doubt it. I don't mean to underestimate Manchester United, but just look at Amorim who still likes to experiment with the lineup that he applies in almost every match. let's take an example when Maionoo was played as a center forward, in the Leicester match Amorim rotated Mainoo back as a winger. one more thing, P Dorgu who is a DL, was rotated to a wing midfielder. I don't really understand what Amorim wants, but what he did is out of the ordinary for other coaches. Getting a ticket to the Champions League by winning the European Cup competition is the only way that Manchester United can take at the moment. This actually a strategy Manchester United literally wants to explore just like Atalanta did last season and they were able  to get the best off it last seeason and now this season they are opportune to play in the prestigious champions league where they are trying to probably get some experience in that aspect but then they cannot be regarded as a top contender for the Champions League title.  So Manchester unit should see this as their opportunity and make sure to possibly get this as it will add to their confidence at the end of the season moving into the next season.
