I'm eagerly awaiting for the PAOK match tomorrow. Chances are pretty slim but it would be nice to see PAOK go through to the next round and anvance. Olympiakos already did very well in the conference league last year winning it and does fairly well for a Greek team in the Europa league this season. If we have even two teams advancing it's going to be historic.

Within Greece we have PAOK and Olympiakos owners fighting each other over how tight Olympiakos owner is controlling every aspect of the local league as the president of it. So it's going to be interesting to see PAOK advanced as well because that rivalry is funny if anything. Almost all owners of big teams in Greece are in some way or the other colluding with the government and being involved in some dark dealings so when these big guys fight I prefer to let the matches speak for themselves.

Olympiakos has objectively been playing good football and their presence abroad is good proof of that. I kinda wish Greek football was more like international competitions sometimes. There's tens of thousands of very active fans here yet our country can't organize good level of competition without obvious collusion.

Manchester United and Tottenham both don't play well. I think one of them will be eliminated in an early stage. Even if the other one qualifies for the final somehow I still don't think they will be victorious.

I think Lazio - Athletic Bilbao duo have a serious chance to become the champions.  

Tottenham and Manchester unity are try as much as possible to make their performances to best one in the Europa League, and that’s why we can see that in some of their previous matches they try out much  effort just to make their performance to be among the best one in the Europa League, but when as there performances of both teams is going on currently now; I think it will be hard for any of them to eliminate the early stages. But possibly if Manchester United try to recover their performance back it will good for them, because is like their more focus on Europa them others league Manchester United might qualifies.

There are still some people who believe that Manchester United could win this cup, maybe I am missing something that they are seeing, and maybe they are right and I am wrong, but I seriously doubt that they can. My personal favorite is Athletic Club, formerly known as Bilbao.

Maybe because in the previous round, Man United was able to give a very good performance and results, by finishing in 3rd position. So they believe that Man United can win the UEL. It's just that, indeed, we still don't know, because Man United's consistency is also not too high.

However, I agree with you. The journey is still long and the competition will not be that easy. There are still Lazio, Athletic Club, and Tottenham who can be Man United's toughest competitors. Although indeed, if we look at their statistics this season, most of them are still not consistent. But this is the game, whoever can be optimal, they will win.

This particular manager was a genius for the Red Devils, he acquired everything and accomplished greater outcomes with the team. Forward to today, there's absolutely no competent manager capable of handling the managerial role in Manchester United. There have been series of sacking of managers in the team, this is probably no good standards for Manchester United.

Manchester United are not consistently losing by big margin but they are performing well in some matches and their performance in others seems random. In other words, Manchester United is failing to maintain the consistent performance of other big teams. Manchester United have a lot of problems going forward. A new manager has suddenly taken charge of Manchester United after the start of the season and since he took over, Manchester United has been trying to improve gradually. The team has been underperforming for a long time under the previous manager Manchester United, but with the new manager taking charge of the team, many are expecting that Manchester United's good times may be coming soon. However, good performance comes from the combination of good players which may not be present at Manchester United. But Manchester United will definitely try to make a good combination of players in the team.

I also don't think they can easily win the UEL title even though they are seen as strong candidates but I believe at least they can reach the semifinals.

Of the two teams, it seems to me that Man United has the opportunity to advance further in the UEL this season, although Spurs also want to get a UCL ticket through this European league title. From the statistics so far in the European league, Man United looks more serious and has a good mentality to become champions in this European league. Manchester United aren't focus enough although they have managed to qualify for the knockout stages of the Europa league and they have to know now that anytime that they play badly, they'll be removed from the competition as the knockout stages aren't where you come to play. You'll have to win all your games to keep progressing and I don't think Manchester United have that in them. All of that happened because they could get opponents more easily here, you should also understand that the competition in the Premier League is very tight against strong teams with very significant improvements and one way to be able to appear consistently with the opportunity for success is to focus on the Europa League and the winner will also directly get ticket to UCL next season.
In the last 16 later until entering the quarter-finals as long as the two team do not meet the top teams, maybe they will be able to reach the semifinals, this will only depend on how lucky they are in getting opponents.

Since this season beginning Manchester United and Tottenham still consistent as the favourite and until group phase ended the bookies still placed them as champion candidates but don't mean they can automatically to gets the trophy or to advances to the final match because knockout phase will be more hard for them especially both teams will facing strong opponents for upcoming matches

Only one of them appears in the Europa League final match is already difficult, and both of them joining the final match is very likely impossible. I don't think it will happen and I am not sure they belong to two different branches so that they won't meet each other sooner than the final match.

Two clubs with big problems and at 13th and 14th ranks in Premier League are not competitive enough to win Europa League. They have problems so that they currently have very low ranks in their domestic league, and it's unlogical to consider they are stronger than many competitors in Europa League from top 5 leagues or beyond top 5 leagues. There are competitors in Europa League that have better forms than both Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur and in cup, your tradition can not your club winning a cup, your form and performances decide.

My prediction for the upcoming match:
Porto vs Roma, draw.
AZ Alkmaar vs Galatasaray, AZ Alkmaar will win.
Union Saint Gilloise vs Ajax, Ajax will win.

The reason is simple, Porto tend to draw, Galatasaray lost many quality players including Osimhen, and Ajax is stronger than Union Saint Gilloise.

Why're you surprised? MU and Tottenham are english club, and that's the reason why bookies putting them as favorites. It's such a non sense thing to see how two clubs who are placing above 10th in the premier league can be favored to win the competition.

This is only repeating last season's odds when english club was also being favored to win it, and most probably a trap. The last time english club won it was 18/19.

There are only two clubs that I feel might be a big challenge for United if they meet. These are Lazio and Aletico. If United can keep improving in performance with passage of time, it's possible that the team will have some balance before the end of this season which will help them go far in EL. United will advance from the round of 16 to the next stage.

Atletico is definitely much better team, they are not even remotely close to United in talent, Bilbao will destroy United if they face. Which I am pretty sure they will face by semi finals if I read the brackets correctly, this new system is something we have to get used to, so we are not entirely sure which one is which, but I am sure that we are going to see Bilbao be much better than United.

I am not even expecting a surprise neither, like in football anything could happen but in this case we are not going to see Bilbao lose on aggregate over two games. United is just not that good this season and they are not doing that well at all. Amorim needs more players, a lot better players, for him to turn this team into a better one.

What do you think that impossible thing can happen, indeed both of these teams are equally bad in EPL but they showed something extraordinary in UEL especially Man United they are still undefeated in UEL and I can say Man United has a good percentage to win this Europa League competition, they are quite good in big matches and now what Man United has to do is balance to continue to be consistent in mediocre teams, because if you face a big team then don't underestimate Man United because they have proven it this season with big EPL teams.

Putting Manchester United as the favorite here is indeed worth a LOL and I think Bilbao is in no regard behind Manchester United. In a final, which is actually taking place in Bilbao, I think they would be the favorite against Manchester United and I also think that Bilbao would have at least a 50% chance if they play against each other in any of the other stages. Bilbao is tough to beat in their home stadium and they have the cleverness and the patience to get a team like Manchester United to commit mistakes during the game.

Tottenham as the second contender for the title is also LOL, look at their position in the EPL 
This year there will be no "landing" from the Champions League, which is why we have such a strange pool of contenders for the title. Individually these are not the worst teams, but if you look at the average level, it has clearly fallen this season.

If I tell the truth, I actually have a little doubt that Spurs have a chance to win the UEL title. Maybe Spurs can try to continue their struggle until the semi-finals, but if in the semi-finals Spurs meet one of the favorite teams, they will definitely lose and fail to reach the final round. For Lazio I still believe that their chances are still very good and even for Man United I feel more confident that MU can be really consistent until they reach the final round later. Amorim has planned something good to be able to bring Man United to get good achievements this season even though they failed in the EPL.

I have seen Athletic Bilbao's performance in the Europa League. This team is quite strong this season. Even in La Liga, Athletic Club's performance is very good. The team is in fourth place in the points table. We have seen Athletic Club win 6 out of 8 matches in the Europa League platform.

Manchester united managed to occupy the third place in the points table of the Europa League. However, the overall performance of this team is still weak. We have not seen manchester United players perform well in any match against big teams in the Premier League. If I compare Athletic Club with Manchester United, I will put Manchester United team behind. I consider Athletic Club team as the favorite for this Europa League title.

So to get to that point, they need to perform responsibly in matches from now on, then it might be a lot easier for them. When you mentioned that Manchester United try to recover their performance it might be good for them. Watching their performance in the UEFA Europa League may not seem that they were not successful in trying to recover their performance, they are still in third place.
