Yeah it was an unlucky day for Galatasaray conceding 4 goals or being 3 goals behind will be a burden in the second leg I mean there is no way for Galatasaray to change the situation which means it is almost certain that Galatasaray will be kicked out. At first I thought Galatasaray could play the same role as the home team play more relaxed or draw then take advantage of the match in the second leg unfortunately the situation is not better lol, somehow they have to win 4-0 in the next match, it seems impossible. I didn't understand what happened to Galatasaray as this is unlike them, they were one of my favourite to win the tournament but now it's looking like they'll be knockout of the competition. What can Galatasaray do in the return leg to win as I don't think there's any way that they can score 4 or more goals to eliminate Alkmaar without them being able to score atleast one goal too. I don't just understand what went wrong for Galatasaray maybe it was as Ayhan got a red card in the second half and Galatasaray went down to 10 men that helped Alkmaar to be confident and played well to get more 2 goals before ending the game with 4-1 scoreline.

Galatasaray really let things slip too far off this time, when you play in a tournament where you have to play two legs for one team to qualify you have to treat amd play every leg with importance and Galatasaray played very poorly in the first leg and conceded four goals meaning they have to get four goals and stop Alkmaar from getting any in the next leg.

In my personal opinion, in the upcoming second leg, Roma has quite a big chance. Because I see that Roma is having even better development at the moment. Apart from that, as we know, Roma also knows Porto's weak points. Even though Porto definitely knows Roma's weak points, I still believe that Roma has a very big chance of winning the match. Moreover, as far as I know, currently several Porto players who play as central midfielders and also those who play as defenders are currently suffering from injuries. I think it will be an additional advantage for Roma to win over Porto's.

Apart from that, currently Roma's main players are in very fit condition, so it is certain that with this, Roma will play with full strength in the match against Porto in the second leg. We should also consider if Amorim is adamant with his 3-4-3 system. In 21 matches with Manchester United, Amorim still uses the same formation. How is it possible if the players you say are lousy, but are still forced to play as well as possible with what Amorim wants. In 10 matches Amorim should have been able to determine or conclude that what he is implementing is difficult to develop with the current Manchester United players. On the contrary, Amorim tends to change the composition of his players. Last time i observed there defense seems to be more weak than their attackers. To be able to win both the midfielders and the attackers need to do their job properly but imagine a case where the attackers were able to score and the defenders keep giving away goals to their opponent what is then the point of the forward scoring. Although i know how it feels when the defenders are doing their job properly and the attackers are missing all the opportunities in the front its very painful. My reason for saying that is because all the pressure is mostly focused on the defenders and the goal keeper. If they slack they will concede a lot of goals.

It already went South for Manchester United under Mourinho's leadership. The only difference was that Mourinho won a title and that camouflaged the downtrend that was ongoing as a whole. Titles often cover up a lot of the mess that is hovering in the background and slowly developing. Now you could argue how a team that is on a downtrend still wins a title, but well there is some variance in football as it is in almost all areas of life. When they won the Europa League, they wouldn't have been a serious contender for the Premier League title, yet it worked out.
