But then he got sacked in 2018 because Manchester United had the worst start in 28 years with 26 points out of 17 games. He had a bad relationship with the club leadership and the team.

If he is this genius that lifts up teams mentally, how is it possible that they had the worst start into a season in 28 years? He is just a human being like everyone else and while some of his influence can have positive impacts, others can have negative impacts.

It already went South for Manchester United under Mourinho's leadership. The only difference was that Mourinho won a title and that camouflaged the downtrend that was ongoing as a whole. Titles often cover up a lot of the mess that is hovering in the background and slowly developing. Now you could argue how a team that is on a downtrend still wins a title, but well there is some variance in football as it is in almost all areas of life. When they won the Europa League, they wouldn't have been a serious contender for the Premier League title, yet it worked out.

But now you can see some fundamental problems that need to be tackled and this is not changing the coach and waiting 3 months. It is more about putting together a whole new team and that will take time given how the market conditions are these days, how strong the competition for new players is and the fact that Manchester United is not the world football address it once used to be. In addition to that they won't be playing any UEFA competitions next season.

I would say that was a good thing for them, because Mourinho got the last big cup for United, whereas FA cup or EFL cup isn't as valuable as Europa cup if you ask me. Sure United is going down, but they should be also looked as a team that can do a lot better with the amount of support and money they have. If they do not do any better, that's of course not the managers fault, but look at their squad and how much money they spent for it, shouldn't they win the europa cup with it?

Amorim has a lot to do, and if he can win this cup, then everything else will be unimportant, but if he fails here too, then we can't keep saying he has no fault, he is not 100% guilty, but he is not 0% neither, he has many good players to be able to win this.

The only reason why am being confident that Galatasaray may come back from the 4:1 defeat they suffered at AZ Alkmar is because Victor Osimhen will feature for the team and due to his performance in their last Turkish Super League game against Rizespor where he scored a brace and gave Galatasaray the win, so if he plays with same spirit against AZ Alkmar then they are likely to score back the three goals advantage AZ Alkmar took over them but the only problem with this club Galatasaray is that they concede goals a lot which means even if they score many goals and do not protect their defense against their opponent from scoring, it won't make any difference if their opponent also gets the opportunity to score them so Galatasaray needs to give their defense concern and make sure that AZ Alkmar do not break in easily and score them goals. Coming back from 3 goals is not easy but let's keep our finger crossed and see how Galatasaray can overturn the result they got last time at AZ Alkmar.

The 3-goal margin is quite heavy for Galatasaray even though they act as the home team, it could be that AZ Alkmaar will play it safe to tend to strengthen their defense. The defeat in the first leg with a score of 4-1 made Galatasaray have to work hard in the second leg, and hope that Osimhen and his colleagues are able to create many goals in this match. I have no doubt that Galatasay is able to score goals, but the question is whether they are able to defeat AZ Alkmaar with a landslide score. especially if AZ Alkmaar tends to play defensively, Osimhen and his colleagues must work hard to dismantle the opposing team's defense. well, let's see if Galatasaray is able to turn things around, it will certainly be an interesting match.

Your doubts are based on the facts that are happening from Man Utd current condition, so I think many doubt them and besides that there are still many other favorite choices to win the UEL competition this season, including Lazio and Bilbao and I think their chances are much greater, but that doesn't mean Man Utd can't, they have proven a little by advancing without having to go through the play-off round.

Injury problems could also be one of the factors that caused Manchester United to slump in the domestic league. Man United was hit by a storm of injuries, such as Amad who was expected by Man United turned out to be injured for quite a long time. Licha too. Mount could not be expected. Roma vs Porto is actually a very strong game to predict the outcome. I watched the first leg of the tie in Portugal and if you ask me, Roma were the better team and now will play host to Porto. In as much as I'm backing Roma to win the game and the tie, I think it's also important to for everyone to know that Porto on their own have all it takes to win the tie.

Truly this two things dont deerve to get out of this stage just like Mancehster City and Real Madrid. I wanted to watch more of their games but thats how football is. As for Roma vs Porta. i firmly believe Roma will win it. Although it's gonna be a hard game, it's following they have only home game as their morale booster. However, i'm not a fan to bet on one side, much prefer to take BTTS. I expect porto does parking bus that makes them struggle to score.

Manchester United winning the Europa League will be a very difficult one for them because they are not inform right now, however we no that when it comes to Europa League they are always good and they play very well, the last Europa they won they where not playing well in there league but they still won a very inform team and lifted the Europa so I still believe they can try there Best in lifting it this season, Tottenham won Manchester United with 1 go in Manchester United last match and is in the 15th position in the English premier League meaning they don't have a chance of meaning there league, so what they should do is to focus more on Europa if they do they will have more chance of winning the Europa, I really don't understand why it is becoming very difficult for Manchester United to come back to form I really don't know if it is the fault of the players or the coach, for me I believe the problem is the coach they have good players he just have to use them well and make them start playing well, if a good coach start coaching Manchester United they will become inform and consistent.
