When I look at this image, I also see a finale between Lazio and Athletic Bilbao. I'm not just saying it because of they finished the league phase as the 1st and 2nd. They really deserve it as they play an impressive football. They aren't playing like Manchester United or Tottenham no matter they finished that phase right behind the first 2 teams. Athletic Bilbao will be tested by a tough challenge first though. They drew Roma which did quite well against Porto earlier. 

About seeing a surprising team like Fenerbahçe in the finale, it isn't impossible. Especially while Mourinho is managing. He is good at carrying a team to the finale in the Europa League.    But for now I don't know whether they can beat any of Roma - Athletic Bilbao.

Interesting fixture last night but a horrible and emotional night for Galatasaray supporters as their team fail to qualify past the playoffs of the European league after trailing by a 4:1 defeat in the first leg they would have wished to turn things around in the second leg but only could get. 2:2 draw which eliminates them from the tournament marking the end of their quest for European trophy this season.

I don't see why Galatasaray fans will be emotional, because they have lost it from the first leg. That was when they should have known that their team will not qualify, because they don't have the quality to score five goals without AZ clapping back any. Technically, Galatasaray cannot win AZ because they ended the match in a draw yesterday in Turkey.

After the poor performance in the first match, it was almost impossible for them to advance to the next round even if they won this match. Galatasaray knew this and as a result they were eliminated from the tournament.
If you lose a match by conceding 4 goals, you don't have much of a chance in the return match. In fact, what everyone expected happened, Galatasaray, despite having a good squad, could not perform well enough to go higher in this league and said goodbye to the tournament

I think that every team has an equal chance starting from the quarter finals because they played against many teams until the quarter finals and all of them are close in strength. We see that favorites do not always make it to the finals and being a favorite in a match makes the team complacent. I am sure that we will watch very competitive matches and every team will show more than their normal performance to win the cup.

Mourinho prepares the team very well in the cup matches and is the coach who has eliminated the most teams in the two-round matches together with Ancelotti. He will want to improve this statistic and he has a good squad. Fenerbahçe can be the surprise team of the cup and if they make it through the round I think they have the power to eliminate whoever comes from Roma and Athletic Bilbao.

I think Gilloise was wrong in the Ajax U.S. Gilloise match.
Goalkeeper Pasveer made two penalties, but the referee did not see these penalties and VAR did not step in and warn him. He uncontrollably interferes with his opponent with his hand both during the normal time of the match and in the extra time. He hits his opponent because he can't time it. That match was organized in the Johan Cruijff ArenA and possession percentage of Royale Union Saint-Gilloise team was brilliant and their  passes were also almost double to the opponent team .

The main mistake of galatasaray was their inability to reduce the score in the previous first leg, thus making the second leg very difficult for them especially after AZ Alkmaar managed to score a goal at the home of galatasaray which made the galatasaray players even more pressured and lost their way, I think the mentality shown by galatasaray in the europa league is not worthy of making them qualify for the round of 16 this season.

For Manchester United, it would be better to play in a lower UEFA competition than Champions League because they can't advance a lot there while here in Europa League, they might get a chance to win it. I don't think they will improve suddenly in the upcoming season unless serious changes were made and especially successful changes.

We believe too much if Osimhen absence in the first leg was the cause of Galatasaray's defeat, even though if we look at the existing statistics, they actually showed extraordinary aggressiveness in attacking, but the defensive line built by Alkmaar at that time was indeed very solid and made it difficult for Galatasaray to score, in my opinion it was the defense owned by Galatasaray who was too weak and often made mistakes in the first leg so made them concede 4 goals, in the second leg  when Osimhen played, he also did not show an extraordinary performance in my opinion, especially after Alkmaar was actually able to score the first goal in the second leg and made the aggregate goals even bigger, it has actually made the Galatasaray players lose motivation and enthusiasm including osimhen  which starting to look very frustrated.

Bilbao definitely seems like the easiest bet to win. I mean they are going to beat Roma now, should be able to easily do that, Roma has been terrible all season long, even with Ranieri they are still not good enough to beat Bilbao at all.

After that, they are going to play the winner of Fenerbahce Rangers, which they should be easily beating both no matter which one comes up, that should not be an issue at all, we are seeing how things could be different there. After that, the whole other side, while most believe United could win out of there, it doesn't which of the four teams, we should see Bilbao beat them all, looks like all four teams there are worse than Bilbao.
