3 matches is a start, but it's not strong evidence for Roma being in their best condition. They still have those very well known weak spots. But they are still 9th only. However, there have been teams in the past doing very badly in their league and then still play very well in the Europa League.

In the European league, Roma is certainly very strong, they have long experience and also have the ambition to become champions. However, the challenge for Roma is quite strong because they will face one of the strong teams from Laliga, namely Bilbao. For me, if we look at Bilbao, of course we are familiar with several names that are on the rise with their good performance with Bilbao such as Nico william. The only way for Roma is of course they must succeed in winning the first leg because Roma will play at home.

In another match that is quite interesting is the meeting between Real sociedad vs Manchester united. I am still a bit doubtful about Manchester united performance, even though they did not perform well in the domestic league, they managed to show their ambition by performing better in the European league competition. UEFA competitions generally has a different appearance when compared to clubs respective leagues. Most clubs who tend to struggle in their respective domestic league seem to do better in when playing in any of the UEFA competitions. Roma is no exception but their opponent can't be said to be weak.
