From the odds, Lazio and Bilbao should be worthy to enter the final round. But honestly, I want to see Man United standing in the final round later. But all of this is just speculation. Because the odds also do not guarantee the final result.

I agree with Bilbao, Lazio and Tottenham chances, but I have my doubts about Man United ability as they have not shown any signs of improvement of late. Conceding two goals at Everton home ground shows that their defense is still very fragile, Man United have also not won in their last three matches in the EPL. Although they can cause a surprise against Sociedad, there is no guarantee that Man United will be able to enter the final.

Tottenham and Manchester United are currently in a very bad shape so I don't think we should expect much from these two teams and also like in previous seasons in the Europa League there were quite a lot of surprises that happened so I think for some of the favored teams it is not guaranteed that they will be able to go further and overall I see that the teams that are still competing in the Europa League this season have almost the same quality so it makes it difficult to predict who will be able to become champions.

Both teams are best teams of the tournament and the players of both teams are fully confident to win this match and I that match will be interesting because that match will be organize in the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and that could give favor to Tottenham team because they are playing on their home ground. The stats of both teams is looking the same because both teams played 5 matches and 2 match won by Tottenham team and 2 by Man City and 1 match was draw . Millions of people will see this match but I would say Tottenham is slightly favorite for that match.Man City football team lost last 2 matches and they are in low confidence and they could many mistakes in this match.

The defeat in the first leg had an effect on Galatasaray's journey in the European League competition so that they were unable to keep up in the second leg match. But they didn't do that at all, they just played like nothing was wrong, because they had absolutely no other plan on how to play. 3 matches is a start, but it's not strong evidence for Roma being in their best condition. They still have those very well known weak spots. There is an uptrend though and it certainly doesn't hurt them to have gained confidence from the last view games in all competitions and to be unbeaten for quite some time in the Serie A. But they are still 9th only. However, there have been teams in the past doing very badly in their league and then still play very well in the Europa League.

Now that Roma has improved in their performance, I guess they will end this game with 3 points because they were playing their opponent like small team that newly joined the tournament, base on the tactics they were using to secure winning goals from the game. You will see what Roma will do to their opponent in their next game because is like the players are playing in unity, not like the selfish game they were playing before to drew some games and manage to won some games.

But they aren't really my favorite just yet as I think there are some teams that are more stable and play better football. Athletic Bilbao is one of them. But it will depend on when these teams meet and while small advantages may be found for one team or another, most of them are quite equal.

Even me, Roma team is not my team, but I use to carry out some research to chose some games that will make my prediction to come to reality, which is the reason I'm supporting Roma to take victory from this game.

Anything close to quarter finals is more than enough for them, and at the league if they finish within top ten that is enough. Do not expect them to do better than that and if they do better than Roma fans can be happy, but if they are not doing that, then it's fine.

Although Roma have gotten better since Ranieri took over there is no chance for them to win it all because the competition is so tough with a few points behind that will make it difficult for Roma to achieve anything. To win the title I think it is difficult for Roma to achieve this season because they don't get many chances and the number of players they have have not shown their best qualities.

To get to the semi-finals is also not easy because the competition will be much tougher and Roma itself must try to do its best by competing with several other strong teams. However, getting to the quarter-finals would be much better and Roma must fight for it this season.

Actually I prefer Athletic Bilbao over AS Roma to advance to the last 8, they played quite well in the domestic league and also regarding their performance in the qualifying round which was very good, so Athletic Bilbao could advance to the last 16 without having to go through the playoffs. However, even so, we never know for sure who will advance to the next round before the match is over.

And in my opinion, another match that is quite interesting to discuss is the match between Eintracht Frankfurt and Ajax Amsterdam, this match brings together big clubs from the Bundesliga and Eredivisie, moreover both teams have performed so well in the European league and in their respective domestic leagues. I'm sure this will be a pretty exciting match to watch.

I suspect it will be a tedious encounter. In La Liga, Sociedad have a goal difference of 23-23 in 25 games. If there is one team I had wanted Manchester United to avoid it will be any Spanish team because the long history of Manchester United is that they don’t enjoy playing against them since their are a low block team. But if we analyze the recent performance of Manchester United well under Amorim and even Ten Hag you will not if they usually do well against clubs that actually like holding the ball very well. This is the reason why you will notice Manchester United having better games against top oppositions and they don’t do well against Lower or mid table clubs. Real sociedad as a Spanish club loves to hodl more of the ball that is where Manchester United will use their counter attacking options but sadly they can have so many players out to injury at the moment

At least the performance of Manchester United in the European League seems good to me now, so Manchester United is nothing to avoid in the European League, but Manchester United can be called a worthy contender to win the title. Manchester United are now only planning on the Europa League so for them the Europa League will be easier this season. As Manchester United failed to win any tournament title in the last few seasons, this season at least they will try to recover from their poor record by winning the Europa League title. However, for Manchester United, some teams can be difficult opponents or create obstacles for Manchester United to win the title, such as Tottenham, Roma, and some stronger teams. But as a Manchester United fan I would definitely want Manchester United to win the Europa League title this season.

Since being taken over by Claudio Ranieri in November, AS Roma has slowly developed for the better. We probably wouldn't see AS Roma in the round of 16 if they were still managed by Ivan Juric, or the previous manager who also included club legend De Rossi. Athletic Bilbao is certainly not an easy opponent, but they are not more dominant than AS Roma either, I think they have equal strength. From the odds displayed, and may change again, AS Roma is slightly more favored, is natural since in the first leg they will act as the home.

I remember I really didn't like Ranieri's return because I thought it would be unsuccessful and he would get nothing but negativity, but to my surprise he was able to improve things. I agree that at the moment these two clubs are almost equally strong and this is reflected in the odds, if the first game had been in Bilbao, I think we would have seen exactly the same numbers, only in favor of Athletic.

We could see how things could change from now until the games start, and even until the finals. Maybe Bilbao looks the best now, but could have Nico injured? Maybe we see Lazio lose couple players? Maybe we have semi finals so hard that whoever is there to win, ends up with some good players booked for the final game?

Like nothing is known until the end, so it is not smart to make outright bets at this moment, not right now anyways, I get it at the start of the season, because anything could happen, but not anymore. The teams that finish in the top eight of the League Phase standings are certainly more favored, but the Europa League is always full of surprises, where the more favored teams are sometimes eliminated earlier. AS Roma, although they had to struggle to reach the round of 16 and were not favored, they also deserve to be considered as trophy contenders. In addition, it is very natural that Lazio, Athletic Bilbao, Manchester United and Tottenham get more attention, because they have better consistency than the other contestants.
