The Arsenal game makes things tricky, though. Feels like they’re stuck between a rock and a hard place—risk the league or risk Europe. Either way, this next week is going to be huge for them.

Manchester United is at a very tight spot but I'd expect Amorim to know which to give priority. If he can get a defeat against Arsenal and a victory against Real Sociedad, looks to me like a good result. They need the Europa trophy badly because it's their golden ticket to the champions league. So I don't expect him to give much importance to the Arsenal game and to hand Chido Obi and Harry Amass their first premier league start in other to rest other players for the Real Sociedad 2nd leg game.

Amorim must know what his priority is right now. With the first leg ending in a draw, Amorim must certainly maximize his team in the second leg. I am also not so sure they can reach the final, however, United's situation is not good enough. Amorim will only maximize the squad he currently has. United are in a difficult situation and in the second leg, they must win. Facing Arsenal is not an easy match, but I am sure Amorim will not make mistakes. There is a break for rest, the most important thing is to avoid the risk of injury.

Roma had an exciting match with Athletic Bilbao, both teams played well but AS Roma deserved to win it at Olimpico stadium even they only managed to score a winning goal at 90+3 minute. The second leg match in Spain with Athletico Madrid will be very hot and exciting, with Roma it contains high presssure and considerable challenge in a home away match while Athletic Bilbao already shown their strength in Italy.

Exactly, AS Roma did a very incredible finish. Yes, winning against Athletic Club is not an easy thing. That club is one of the favorites in UEL, the second top clubs in standing. Only lost 1x, and they also have a squad composition that is much better than Roma, especially in the front line.

But, Bilbao was very unlucky with the red card, and what Roma did was very good too. The last goal dashed Bilbao's hopes. And interestingly, Roma's first goal by Angelino, was said to be the first goal with the right foot.

Is already first half and Manchester united didn't play like a team that wants winning in the game no single force at all. However with the way they are playing if they didn't change their parterm in this second half they might likely end up in playing 0-0 draw with Real Sociedad in this game, or even though losing because their performance is totally not impressive at all.

The match between Manchester United VS Real Sociedad has been going on for 64 minutes, and Man United continues to try to put pressure on Real Sociedad's defense line, and produces quite good results, J. Zirkzee managed to score a goal against Real Sociedad right in the 57th minute, thus bringing a temporary advantage for Manchester United, where the score is now 1-0. and hopefully Manchester United will not only be able to maintain that score, but they will also be able to increase their advantage to prevent Real Sociedad from equalizing, because considering the remaining time is still quite long so anything can still happen.

I already knew that Manchester united can not secured the victory over Real Sociedad in this game. because even in their past records shows that both teams performances are quite the same, though even when I saw that Manchester united have score 1 goal in the second half I was quite confident that Real Sociedad would definitely equalize the game before the end of the match.

Manchester United was drawing.. They played with garbage composition of squad in away game. Many expected them to lost in this game, but they overachieved it. It means they do it pretty well by getting draw.

I know they bottled their lead, and miss important aggregate. However, the draw gives them advantage in the second leg when they play at their home in the second leg.

The draw in away game is already big achievement. it can boost their morale to perform better at second leg.

This is becoming so annoying, these so called professional players are playing a role in destroying this team with a great history but then the coaches would carry all the blame and get sacked in the end , it's been going on an on for years and many coaches have been sacked due to poor performance and decision making of some set of players, they are not helping the coach to make this team get better. I won't be among those fans that would rush to shout Amorim out on the media after the end of the season if things doesn't go well cause it's clear that several Manchester United players wants him to fail, here is another instance, Garnacho had two way opportunity to either pass to Hodjlund or the captain Bruno Fernandes but what did he do, he choose to hit the side netting not even finding a target or passing to the well positioned players to score. Manchester United had several opportunities to win that game but some players were not helping, like I said in my previous post, "I feel pity for Amorim" and I hope he gets a massive clear out during the summer, that's if the board doesn't end up sacking him like they did to other previous coaches in the past.

Yeah, Garnacho force himself to shot on that angle, he should aware that he's not Salah, Mbappe or Haaland who have a very good shooting accuracy. He should pass to Bruno in that situation, because Hojlund is too close with the goalkeeper, the goalkeeper can just catch or punch the ball.

If Manchester City had more striker, Garnacho will stay in bench he keep playing like that, unfortunately Manchester United don't have enough player, so they're forced to let Garnacho to play.

I think I would score Manchester united below average considering their performance in this game because if they were serious or desperate enough then they could have beaten the home to take the advantage before the second leg at old Trafford, some of Real sociedad's key players were left out of that yet Manchester united failed to take advantage of that, am not really comfortable with that result because Spanish sides are very unpredictable and may tend to be very tough against Manchester united in the return leg of this particular game, and I hope Manchester united doesn't concede much goals at home because sociedad are capable of doing such.

Real Sociedad has a fantastic and dynamic team that are capable of turning the results around to their favour considering the weak defense line of Manchester United which makes it not hard for any team to get passed them to get a goal. I think Real Sociedad would come back in full force in the second leg and  Ruben Amorim side have to be well prepared for that because it's going to be a tough game from what am seeing.

Ruben Amorim coming up with the excuse of how the penalty awarded to Real Sociedad changed the momentum of the game which led to them drawing the match, for me that's not a good excuse because this is same Manchester United that went on to win Ipswich with a one man down in their squad but last night they were just a disappointment and were just lucky to get a draw. I hope they make use of their home advantage when they host Real Sociedad in the second leg.

I didn't like Fenerbahçe's game today, I expected much better from them. I think Mourinho didn't observe Rangers well enough. This score is embarrassing for them. They should have drawn at home at the worst. Now their quarter-final dreams are probably over. It's very difficult for them to score at least 3 goals and win in Scotland. They have so many good strikers but only Djiku (defender) scored.

Considering their performance in their domestic league, no one would have thought they would lose to Rangers especially on their own turf. Their performance was embarrassing as they struggled, and failed to capitalize on key moments. It was a great game for Barry Ferguson and his boys as this result puts them firmly in control and gives them a strong advantage going into the next stage of the competition.

Fenerbahçe's performance in the domestic league is very convincing to win the match, the players they have are also not inferior to their opponents, but they waste too many opportunities, which ultimately harms them because it is very thin to be able to advance to the next round.

I don't think anyone is happy with Fenerbahçe's performance in Yesterday's game. But I knew Jose Mourinho was going to get stuck in the later rounds. You have such a strong squad but you can't use it properly. I think this defeat is Mourinho's fault. I can't blame the players too much. Fenerbahçe should've been more effective in attack, they didn't play with a tactic accordingly. When Rangers closed down, they couldn't open the defense. There was a lot of anticipation for Roma before this match, and although it was a tough match they were able to win, Ranieri helped Roma gain confidence. Perhaps the red card also played a role, because even though Alvarez received it at the end of the match, Shomurodov was able to score the winning goal in extra time. It is clear that the teams will play the decisive match in Spain, but Roma took an important step with this victory.

To be honest most Manchester United players are very unserious and I feel lots of pity for Amorim cause he's a good coach that loves to win but is currently working with several players with lack of football sense, I would've used the word inexperienced but Dalot is a senior player in Manchester United and Portugal's national team so he's experienced and should've known what to do in that situation, a pass to Hodjlund would probably had given Manchester United another goal or even caused a penalty if the opponent defender or keeper fouls Hodjlund in the box but what did Dalot do he slowed down and passed to Garnacho. You can see in the 1st imagine, how tight Real  Sociedad attacker was positioned in between two Manchester United defender but their winger Becker still gave him the pass, Dalot even had a chance to give more better pass but his decision making was very poor, hope the board are taking note of this to see that some of these players need to be cleared out for Amorim to succeed.

Well, now everyone realizes and knows from the match what really happened. A small part blames Amorim while the coach has tried to give his best. But people still blame Amorim and hope he will be replaced. While the problem now is only the Man United players themselves.

Whereas before I had said that Amorim had to do a big reshuffle, especially in defense. And now it is proven that defender players also cannot make a good contribution to the team. And if we consider Dalot as a senior player, it is just a title. But in terms of mastering football, he seems to have no talent.

I as a fan of Man United also felt the disappointment made by Dalot while it was a very good condition for scoring more goals.

This is a big surprise because Fenerbahce was initially very favored but in fact they lost at home.

Rangers knocked Fenerbahce by three goals to one which was quite unexpected and bad result for a first game, and worst played in the home. Next leg will be harder for Fenerbahce since Rangers will play comfortably in their home with two goals advantage. Dominating the game and having a lot of shots mean nothing, they have to score many goals in the next match.

Manchester United couldn't maintain the positive result more than 15 minutes in the second half and they will have also bad time in Spain trying to beat Real Sociedad.
Az Alkmaar, Bodo/Glimt and Roma are the only teams that won in their home.

They really believe in Mourinho about how he has been quite good in the past in many teams but maybe at Fenerbahce he doesn't have that and I should have Fenerbahce has a good development but not well developed in the Europa league with Mourinho, it's quite sad to lose to Rangers 3-1 and yes they lost badly, but if you look at the control of the match and also the shot attempts at the Rangers goal Fenerbahce is quite good in this match it's just that they can't execute well, maybe they need more players as the final executor not a new coach again and again.

AZ Alkmaar managed to win the first leg at home, albeit with difficulty.Alkmaar took the advantage with Bergvall's own goal.Totthenham didn't play very well, but they will probably beat their opponent in the home game.I think it is not yet clear who will win the round, but if Totthenham continues this bad game, it seems certain that they will not pass the round.
Lyon, on the other hand, defeated their in-form opponents 3-1 away from home and almost secured the round.After such a comfortable away win, they will be more comfortable in their home game and it is possible that they may even rotate.

Rangers was superior to Fenerbahçe by humbling them 3-1. A shocking result that no one could possible thought of, how can an elite team be humbled by some random competitive club? The picture to see Fenerbahçe getting knock out of the Europa League by Glasgow Rangers is absolutely dissatisfied to me. Fenerbahçe underrated their rival, resulting to yesterday defeat in Europa league. A piece of advise to these elite teams that dominate the odds, never underestimate any opposition they encounter in the elite tournaments, every team anticipating grows the urge and target to win a trophy.

I was surprised too, to see that kind of goals against fernabahce  because apart from the fact that they gave them a lesser odd, they were inform that was the reason I believe they will win but reverse was the case and like I always says, the bookmakers are manipulating people I mean they are using people's intelligence and there is no way someone will see the big odd they gave Rangers and still went ahead to play them to win unless they just want to take risk and one of the reason why I wasn't that surprised was because fernabahce haven't played Rangers before that is why I was finding it so difficult to predict it. However, Rangers played very well and they utilized all there opportunities and I doubt if fernabahce can come back again.

Sometimes football is like that but it was still a disappointment for the players and the fans as well, we all expected them to play better and we expected a better result than what we saw. Fenerbahce had couple of goal scoring opportunities but failed to utilize them which means the day was not theirs and they were even lucky that some goals were ruled out for offside if not it would have been worse, it would have been 1-5. Losing such goal margin at home is very disappointing and Rangers would be difficult to beat at their home ground. Qualifying for the next round will now be challenging for them.

The both teams are not very consistent this season but I think Manchester United is more stronger than Real socided this season, Manchester United should try their best so they can be able to eliminate Real Sociedad at Old Trafford when they meet in their second leg though before now I thought Real Sociedad will win Manchester United but after watching their fist leg am well convince that Manchester United will qualify.

Garnacho is Manchester United young star that has a bright future but I am beginning to dislike his pattern. I don't know why Garnacho choose to be selfish most times and he sees himself as the most important player in Manchester United. If not that Manchester United is just like kid's club, is Garnacho fit enough to be in Manchester United bench? Let alone to start for Manchester United.

Honestly, Manchester United needs alot of good players who are proud of the club to play for them. This is no longer coach's problem but that of the players and the management.
