Very disappointing for Roma and Claudio Ranieri. In this match Ranieri's team did not deserve such a result and before this match Roma had a great series without defeats and experienced Hummels let Roma down with his unnecessary red card. Unfortunately the suspension of Roma's main defender on 12 minutes left almost no chance for Roma against Atletico Bilbao playing at home.

The first half of the Europa League hasn't being impressive to me personally, this half lack goals except for only Frankfurt who's 2 - 0 against Ajax, the rest other teams that are playing by this time I'm not impressed. If these games happen to end without goals, definitely lots of tickets will go down the drain because most people most have picked goal options in their various coupons and I think it's hard for people to skip the at least the game of Lazio Vs Plzen, Olympiacos Vs Bodo and that of Athletic Club. I for one went for goals options in these game and I need goals in this second half.

Eintracht Frankfurt, who took the field with the advantage they gained in the first match, would have had to win or draw to advance to the quarterfinals.

I saw footage of the tackle from Hummels that was clearly risky and finally the referee was right to give a red card that hurt his own club, AS Roma.

Roma messed up big time in this match as they blew away the advantage they had that cost them the competition. If they had played for a draw, that would have seen them through since they already won the first leg by 2-1. They would have easily gotten a draw but they went about it the wrong way which is dwelling in the past instead of facing the present. By this I mean that they were more defensive in the match instead of playing to score goal and allowing their opponent to fight to equalize and thereby dragging the match to a draw.

It is obvious that lack of strategy was part of the problem Roman had in the match and I think the coach have a share of the blame. You don't use the strategy of defense in a match with just one goal difference. Assuming they played massive defense and massive attack, they would have at least scored a goal more than what they did.

This is a home game advantage, and i don't see them making hold of that. United attacking is not the problem, but scoring is the problem. If Fernandez doesn't score, United do find it very difficult to score. Look at the empty post that was an opportunity for Hojiluund to double the goal, instead, he played it to the side post even when he is very close to the goal post.

United is playing better than Real Sociedad but it's whomever that scores more will win the game. United should avoid playing penalty shootout because they're not good at penalties. I want Bruno Fernandez to have a good chance of finding the back of the next the second time.

Surprising result in the Europa League tonight as Eintracht frankfurt is currently leading Ajax by 3:0 if this result ends this way Ajax will be saying goodbye to the competition I was not expecting a score like this because I really expected Ajax to go through but their performance this night is appallingly because Ajax is one team that is a European team so lossing like this is something that I didn't expect.

Since from the home game I lost hope against Ajax because if they can lose the first leg, which is a home game for them, then what will happen in the second leg that they will be playing an away game? Frankfurt's performance was really impressive, no doubt, and I will once again congratulate them on making it to the next round in the league this season.

Unfortunately for Roma, they have been eliminated from the Europa League and couldn’t book a spot in the quarterfinals which is more important for them to have booked. The red card really destabilized their game and even before the one goal scored by Parades in the match, Atletic Club were already two goals ahead of them in aggregate that they needed two more goals for the match to go into extra time. It is HT 1-1 I think there is a great chance and possiblity of Manchester United winning this game though both team had scored with a penalty Real Sociedad was leading with 1-0 before Manchester United later equalize with a penalty also which was converted by Fernandes, Manchester United performance is good they are dominating more in the game though if it ends like this after extra time they are going to play a penalty shot out where the lucky side wins but believe Manchester United will finish the game with a victory before FT at the Theatre of dream Old Trafford .
