Lyon will be an easy opponent for United to defeat, because I can see the beast in United now that the competition is in the knock out stage. United should be able to reach the finals in this competition if they can continue improving their performance. I don't think Lyon is a weak team. I saw the performance of lyon's players in the round of 16 match against FCSB. Lyon won 4-0 in the home match and 3-1 in the away  match. So this team cannot be considered weak in  any way. Also , Lyon's players are able to perform quite well in recent matches in Ligue 1.

I would say that Manchester united can easily win against Lyon if this team can continue the great performance they had against Real Sociedad in the last match. Because the performance of united's players against Sociedad was impressive.
However, Manchester united's main  weakness is that this team has failed to play well consistently . So the possibility of Manchester United getting an easy win against Lyon is also low.

I agree with you. United might not be consistent in EPL but I believe they are more consistent in UEL. My problem with United is that they find it difficult to make  something out of every chance that they create. It's not that I am underestimating Lyon, from the observation of United last match, I feel the team has the qualities to win Lyon.

This like what i have said in the past about how Bruno was the only one who carried the club. He scored a lot, and created so many assists, but people rooted him as the main problem in the club. He also being labelled as "The problem".

He's the only consistent player owned by Manchester United. I wonder whey he always called him as the main problem. He's very unlucky to have mediocre team.

He scored three goals, and helped his club to win the game. He should be treated better.

Certainly Bruno Fernandez has been a very important player gor manchester United since joining the club he deserves praises for not just taking up the responsibility of Captain but for his consistent heroics on important occasions when it was really needed. To my surprise, bookmakers are now pricing Tottenham as clear favourites, with Tottenham's odds at 1.61 and Eintracht's at 2.18. Maybe these are inflated expectations for the first game, which will be held in England? It seems to me that if Tottenham do not achieve a serious advantage at home (two or more goals), then in the return game Eintrach will be the favorite.

It was still early odds. I still expect some adjustment to happen when we're getting closer to the matchday. I clearly see how Tottenham odds is most likely moving down, and expect them to have odds closer to the their opponent.

The first leg is gonna a home game for them, and they obviously get a small advantage than Frankfurt. 

Maybe Tottenham performance in their last home match must have been the reason for the odd which clearly favours Tottenham to win. With some of their big players returning from injuries and no news about fresh injuries to their some of their important players might also have influenced the odds. Although I strongly believe that Tottenham Hotspur will win the match at home. Tottenham are not a small side, just that this season they haven't been consistent in the league due to injuries. If all their important players are fit, I don't see why they can't beat Eintracht Frankfurt especially if they are playing at home. For Tottenham it is all about the Europa League as this is the only way for them to make this season finish with a happy ending.
