Manchester United desperately needs to win this competition if they want to play in any European competition. But their inconsistency this season makes me cautious while betting on them.

Lyon is not doing badly in the French League. They are occupying the fifth position, which means they will still play in the Europa League next season if the League ends this way. I expect them to give Manchester United a good fight and they might even qualify if they work hard.

One thing about Manchester United supporters is that with the dismissal of each coach will realize that the coaches were not the problem. Manchester United may not be doing very well in the English premiership but their performance in the Europa league is not too bad.
