It is actually quite unusual to see such a low level of competition in Europe's second most prestigious tournament. Of all the remaining teams, only Atletico are in the top 4 of the domestic league, with many others at the bottom of the table.

I have the confidence that Manchester United will scale through this stage of the Europa league by defeating Lyon both home and away. Lyon is still going through a tough time now while Manchester United is almost out of their issues which gives them the advantage in that match. Lyon was defeated yesterday by Strasbourg by 4:2 which was a big surprise to many people who expected Lyon to win. Manchester United will take advantage of the situation to progress to the next stage of the Europa and hope they are able to defeat their next opponent.

Looking at the results of the last match when Lyon lost to Strasbourg then Manchester United should be able to beat Lyon but it is not certain that this can be done by Manchester United. I still see the chance of a draw in this match and if one of them wins I will choose Manchester United. Lyon did not show a good game at all against Strasbourg and this is a big worry when they face Manchester United who are much more dangerous in attack so if they are not prepared well it will make Lyon experience bad results again.

Lyon might be tough when playing other clubs but I don't think that their toughness is a problem to United. Manchester United is a team that when they are serious to win an important match, they do put in their best to make sure that they achieve victory. EPL matches might not be important to Amorim because he is using it as an experiment to know what strategy fits the players on ground. That's why you see him changing players to play in different wings and positions. However, this is an important match which Amorim knows he needs to win. He will definitely use his best winning strategy and players.

Apparently Lyon this season is doing well in there league than Manchester united but it doesn't mean they will beat Manchester united in the Europa quarter finals and this is the only hope and opportunity Manchester united have to win a trophy this season and at same time qualify for the champions league next season. However, the 3 teams you mentioned are the major challenge Manchester will encounter in this Europa league and despite Tottenham Hotspur form, they always give Manchester united tough time and they have win Manchester united more this season and I guess last season too so they are also a treat.

I think chances are quite equal for most of the remaining teams except maybe for Bodo/Glimt. They are probably the underdog in this round although I think they aren't without chances either. Frankfurt now has a real test to pass against Tottenham. While Tottenham is not in the best condition, it is still the Europa League and I expect Tottenham to play these games with all the seriousness possible. Their position in the Premier League might be misleading.

What Amorim will focus on right now is the Europa league, because he knows that their is nothing for him to achieve in the premier league. No matter what Manchester United will do, they can’t secure any spot in top 6 on the premier league table,  don’t even expect them to end the season above 10th position this season, because their performance has been so poor.

If Amorim can win the Europa league, at least he has been able to win a trophy this season, and will be getting the champions league ticket, so it’s just better to focus on the Europa league, and pay less attention on the premier league title because their is nothing left for Manchester United in the premier league, what they are suppose to be scared of is relegation, but as we can see it’s not possible for Manchester United to be relegated this season.

Frankfurt is good but they have to get through Totteham first then after that they will go through Lazio. I don't see them getting past these 2 teams. They play well but I just don't think they're that good.

The question of which team will win the European League title in the European League is still far away, so maybe Manchester United will worry more about the matches that are ahead. Directly but there is no chance to qualify for the finals or to win the championship so they have to go step by step and they know very well that if Manchester United do badly at any stage they will not reach the next stage. Now Manchester United will probably focus their full attention on the quarter-final match as a win in the two legs of the quarter-final will guarantee them a place in the semi-finals. I will not say that Manchester United will be champions in the European League, but in the last few seasons, Manchester United could not be champions in any major tournament, so I would like them to be champions this season.

Why you don't hope Amorim can do what Jose Mourinho did and succeeded to win UEFA Europa League title for Manchester United?

Such hope is a recognition of Jose Mourinho management quality and contribution for Manchester United even he was not fully trusted and supported by Manchester United boss. Many years after Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement, Jose Mourinho is the only head coach in Manchester United that can hep them winning a big title in Europe, but he was not recognized respectfully enough for this achievement.

Amorim is a young coach with his talent and potentiality of growing up more, but this season might not be a good one for him to win Europa League title. It's because of his management quality and also problems in Manchester United in individual players to a whole team scale.
