Manchester United and Tottenham are bigger than the rest of the people contesting for the title. Irrespective of the poor form, I still believe that the Europa League will return to the English Premier League and the favorites are rather Manchester United. They have all it takes to win it and I believe they will.

Tottenham is nowhere near the club Athletic Bilbao is. Bilbao is a bigger club than Tottenham. How can you assume Tottenham is a bigger club than Bilbao? What have they done in their history to achieve that? The fact that a club plays in the Premier League doesn't give them the right of passage to be bigger than every other club. Bilbao has league titles and Spanish cup titles. Again, Tottenham is nowhere near the level of Bilbao when it comes to which clubs are bigger.

Speaking of the favourites, if Bilbao manages to make it through by eliminating Manchester United, they will be favourites in the final regardless of who they face because the final will be in their San Mames, which is Athletic Bilbao's stadium.
I believe Bilbao will win United, but it's football, we can't be too sure.

What a night! Manchester United may have staged a comeback thereby winning the game with a 5-4 result to proceed to the semi final but am quite not impressed with how they had to throw away a 2 goal lead cheaply allowing their opponent to score 4 goals in a row which could have cost them elimination in the competition if they were playing against a more  better side than Lyon. Honestly Manchester United got lucky and if they continue with such epileptic show of not defending their goals they might not reach the finals.

In the semi-finals Manchester United faced a team that was much better than Lyon so what you said is also true that Manchester United need to improve their game if Manchester United want to get to the final of the Europa League this season. Because Athletic Club are a very dangerous team and Manchester United can’t just rely on their luck in the semi-finals as they also need to improve to face a team that is slightly more their equal in the semi-finals of the Europa League this season.

It's vital they recognise the strength of their next opponent Athletico Bilbao considered to have a better sturdy defence than Lyon which makes them not to concede goals that easily as much of their results they have had in the UEL has been with a cleansheet. Manchester United would have to avoid making any mistakes that would require them to struggle for a comeback because with Bilbao they won't be lucky again.

When Man United was leading with 2 goals in the first half, I guessed they will win the match easily. Unfortunately, Lyon scored 4 goals in the second half of the match.

It was a massive comeback in no time which should be applauded anyway because not every time we get to see such astonishing comebacks that previously appeared impossible to do. Athletic Bilbao won't give them that chance they should know that.

However, I have been on the watch but haven't seen anywhere the fans are applauding Onana personally for his saves in that game, we can now see with the 4 goals Lyon got in a row that the Manchester United defence is something to be worried about and it's not always about Onana being bad goalie.

Amorim really made Man United good in that match and Man United's mentality was really extraordinary and of course now Man United supporters are very happy to see Man United perform impressively in that match. and now Man United advances to the semifinals and of course in the semifinals Man United must be ready to face Bilbao which of course will not be easy to beat.

Manchester United's performance in the Premier League is very weak. Manchester United is in 14th place in the points table. Amorim could not improve United's performance in the Premier League. However, Amorim gave full effort in every match of the Europa League. Manchester United's performance on the Europa League platform is quite good.

Lyon was not a weak opponent. In the first leg match, we saw good performance from both teams. The second leg match was also fiercely contested. Lyon fought hard. However, Lyon was a bit unlucky. If midfielder Corentin Tolisso had not received a red card in the 89th minute of the match, Lyon might not have lost. Lyon played very well even with 10 players in extra time. The Manchester United - Lyon game was just a masterpiece... I don't remember a more enjoyable game than this in the recent times. 

That huge comeback by the Red Devils was incredible. But still we shouldn't forget the fact that they conceded 2 more goals from a team playing one man down. I still think the same about the semi finals. Athletic Bilbao would eliminate them.

It was a very entertaining match --- who was initially happy to be 2-4 behind in extra time and able to make a comeback in the last minute, this I did not expect Man United to be able to present a tense game even though finally all fans cheered after Maguire scored with a header.

Man United is really gambling in the Europa League, no matter how strong they do now it is proven because they qualify for the semifinals against Bilbao statistically, the opponent is quite balanced even more favored Man United than Bilbao. I think Amorin can qualify for the final.

From what I saw in Manchester United's performance yesterday, I doubt if they are reaching the finals. They should count themselves lucky that they later won against Lyon because it was really somehow that they were leading by 2 goals, only to allow Lyon to equalize them, even 2 more goals against them before they managed to have a comeback to score three goals at extra times. There are teams it would be, the match would have ended as a lost match for them. Manchester United should do what is, to fix their defense line if they are facing Bilbao next before reaching the finals

Surprise semi final, I expected to see Lazio - Frankfurt but both of these teams managed to lose, and now it would be funny to see Bodø/Glimt in the final. I know that for Tottenham the Europa League was as important as for Manchester United, because for these teams it is the last chance to get a place in the Champions League, so they are focusing on these matches. But now I am inclined to see Tottenham and Athletic Bilbao in the final.

Of the 4 teams playing in the semifinals I think Bodø/Glimt are really underrated. From the start no one thought they could advance to the semifinals. I didn't expect them to beat Lazio on penalties. It was when Lyon scored their first goal against Manchester United that they started mounting pressure on Manchester United, and Manchester United were not able to handle the pressure, which led to Lyon scoring their second goal to level up with Manchester United in the second half. This is football, and don't allow how Manchester United performed against Lyon to make you believe that Athletic Bilbao will knock out Manchester United because for Manchester United to overcome Lyon's late show yesterday, I think they are destined to win this season's Europa trophy.

United was able to win Lyon because they had one man down. However, a win is a win. I will not expect much from United in the semifinals like I did in yhe quarter finals, because United was lucky to use a narrow escape to the semifinals. My problem witj United is their strikers. They need to be always ready to net the post.

If United can succeed in the semifinals to the finals, it means that they will win the league this season but it's still under a 50-50 probability. Yesterday will be a remarkable day for United.

Tottenham Hotspur is likely going to knock them out in the next round, because of the quality they have. Although even if they exit the competition in the next round, they have really had a good campaign by making it down to the semi final. Nobody thought they would get to this stage. But I don't see them lifting the trophy.

I was very impressed with the style of play of Bodo/Glimt they have been a very good team and are a team to watch in this years European league. The way they dismantled Lazio at the first leg and I feel they have been unlucky in the second leg. They showed seriousness to win against Lazio in the shootout, there goalkeeper was very impressive in the game itself, I’m just happy for a team as small as Bodo/Glimt showing so much confidence in there style of play. I will be watching them in the semi final of the European League.

If the team can make it to the Europa League final this season, of course the team will get a lot of praise because in the Europa League semi-finals this season Bodo/Glimt will meet Tottenham Hotspur who this season is also not so good in their own domestic league. Not sure if Bodo are favourites but their games vs Lazio are noticeable. At first they were unlucky in the first game (they realized very little of what they should have) and in the second game the events developed against them, but they were able to turn it around.
By the way, according to bookmakers, the odds for the title are as follows:

Tottenham - 2.65

Athletic - 3.05

Manchester United - 3.25

FC Bodo/Glimt - 13.00

Lazio might be able to win the match and qualify if they can score early and also not concede in the next match. Scoring 2 goals is actually possible for Lazio if they can really dominate and destroy their opponent's mentality. I think this is a very dramatic match. How could it not be, both teams take turns getting hope and in the process 9 goals were scored. Man United started very well and it looked like they would be able to win easily, but unexpectedly, Lyon did not want to give up so easily and surprisingly they were able to turn the score around to 4-2. I thought Man United were already finished at this point, but it turns out they also made a surprise and managed to make a very dramatic comeback and closed the match with a score of 5-4.
