A team that plays average football managed to reach this far, but Tottenham handled it with ease and deservedly went through.I won’t favor anyone, but i give a slight advantage to United, simply because of their greater experience in competitions like this.

However, the challenge in the final will never be easy, Tottenham is a difficult opponent to beat. Well, turned out betting on Athletic was not as great of a move as I expected. Just after I posted that, Man United decided to ruin my coupon and opened the shooting spree, with 4 goals in around 20 minutes.

Tottenham didn't have much problem with Bodo, they won 2-0 (aggregate 5-1) so we're going to have an English final.
I think United will be a slight favourite, especially given how easily they dealt with Athletic Bilbao, who are a solid team after all.
Both Man United and Tottenham have been disappointing when it comes to their Premier League results and positions, they are ranked 15th and 16th respectively.

Manchester United and Tottenham tried to reach the Europa League final because i didn't believe in Tottenham at first but after they managed to reach the semifinals, i saw potentials in the team despite their poor form in the Premier League games but it's good to see that they have made it to the finals and have a 50/50 chance with Manchester United of who will win the Europa League title. England teams tried in the Conference League and the Europa League, it was only in the Champions League that all the England teams disappointed woefully, the worst was Arsenal that had the chance to reach the finals but were eliminated by PSG yesterday in the Champions League. Congrats to Tottenham and Manchester United for making England proud in the Europa League despite who will win it among the two but it's all to the benefit of the EPL entirely.

Manchester United were very lucky from the first leg, the red card was the main reason for Bilbao’s downfall and Manchester United used the opportunity well to score enough goals in the first leg, and for the second leg, the match ended 4-1 which simply shows how good Manchester United is against Bilbao even though Bilbao dominated the game, but the must important thing is the win which is what Manchester United focused on.

The final of the UEFA Europa League will now be between Manchester United vs Tottenham. The match will be tough because both of these teams are looking for opportunity to play in the Champions League next season.
For Tottenham, if they win the Europa League, it will be a great history for them because they will brake the deadlock of not winning major trophies for the team. I tend to disagree with your notion that Manchester United dominated the first half, it was more like a 50 - 50 in terms of dominance and possession in the first half, not too many chances was even created by both teams with the only shot on target being the goal. Both games came as expected, but the most surprising was that of Manchester United because in the first half we all thought they would not be able to make it in the game after seeing most lost opportunities, but luckily enough in the second half we weren’t seeing difficult goals, and between 30 minutes, they were able to score 4 goals, making them the winners of the game, which, if it’s based on aggregate, is 7-1. It was such a hard one for Bilbao to meet up, most especially after they lost the first leg with 3-0, but still nevertheless they will be able to try better next season.

On the other hand, Bodo Glimt really tried to make it up to the semifinals, as you mentioned, but we all know they will not be able to win against Tottenham in a game, and that is what happened, although in the first leg they were able to have a goal, but that still doesn’t change anything, as they still lost the game, but no doubt they really tried this season. And if they should do more, I think they will be able to be more than this next season.

I was hoping Manchester united won't mess with their 3 goals lead because we've seen them doing crazy things in the past, and they actually went ahead to win both legs comfortably. What a perfect dream Europa League finals. If I still remember football history correctly, I think Arsenal and Chelsea were the last English clubs to meet in a Europa League final, and now we are having two other big English sides in the finals.

Both teams have not done really well this season. I think they sit very close on the league table. Winning the Europa League will surely be a compensation for the bad season. I can't really say that any side deserves it far more than the other, but good luck to the better side.
