I am not sure the problem or priority of Manchester United is having the Europa League funds. Manchester United is not in financial crisis, so they will not find it difficult to release any amount of money to get any player they want. The most important reason why winning tonight is very crucial to Manchester United is; to enable Manchester United attract big players. A strange final indeed. The situation of both teams has made the outcome of the finals unpredictable. Both teams need this win to appease their fans and owners after a very poor run in the English Premier League. I just can't explain how these two teams made it to the finals even when they were beaten by lowly rated clubs in the EPL. The Red Devils were recently beaten by Brentford and West Ham, while Tottenham lost to Crystal Palace and Aston Villa.

I just checked the prizes the winners will get but some sources mention different prizes €6m , €13m , €25m for the winner let's say the highest prize is €25m + from other sources broadcast income well, actually if we calculate the total prize, it is not enough to contract one player as we know to bring in one new player the club spends at least 50 million and this is the price for players in class A so I think the prize is not the most appropriate reason for the winner, I'm sure there are other reasons, we just don't know.

Regarding the winner I agree with you Manchester United deserved to win it they have a lot of experience and this will help them be more confident. No one thought this was an easy match because basically the chances are almost the same but Manchester is one step ahead with some advantages.

Seriously this stats of Tottenham not winning a trophy for ages now is one thing that Manchester United needs to be wary off because technically this year has been a mixed season for most clubs as we have seen clubs that have not won something for many years coming to win trophies the likes of Crystal Palace, Newcastle United in the premier league and then Bologna in the Italian league, all this are supposed to be a huge motivation for Tottenham today plus they are playing  familiar face in Manchester United which is to their advantage.

I am literally baffled by seeing clubs like Chelsea and Arsenal supporting Tottenham to win, Chelsea might be a little bit understandable but for Arsenal I think it some plastic fans that will want Tottenham to win, Real Arsenal fans are even pissed they got to the final.
