Manchester United could not produce quality and do quality things when they had the ball. Mad Diallo, despite his efforts on the wing, could not reflect the team's general sense of winning on the field, although their ball possession rates were high. They ended Tottenham's 17-year cup drought today against Manchester United and they did it with a single shot on target.

Although the overall viewing pleasure of the match was low, Tottenham deserved this match.

I was really expecting something spectacular from Manchester United in today's match, but it didn't happen. The way Manchester United fans were saying they sacrificed the premier league for the Europa league, I was thinking that they were going to score Tottenham Hotspur enough goals today with a five star performance, but nothing of such really happened. I didn't see that desperation of a team that wanted to win the Europa league with their boring performance tonight. They lacked creativity and their performance was really nothing to write home about. If this is just all Amorim have to offer, Manchester United should better have a rethink this summer.

What I noticed for now Underdog clubs in EPL looks like shining in this musin. We can see that Newcastle was the first time surprising to get the League Cup trophy after 70 years of waiting, recently the Crystal Palace Club was successfully championed at the FA Cup for the first time as long as their club was made so this should be a more motivation for Tottenham where it should be a momentum for the first trophy.
Although it is undeniable that for now the chance of Manchester United is also as big as even now in terms of Fan it is actually more in United, but I will agree if in the end this match will become fierce.

Manchester United supporters are very furious with the coach because they expected a better performance from them in this finals which should have been the trophy that they should have won considering how good they have been in this competition. Now that they have lost, I've listened to some few supporters complain about the lack of tactical ability of the coach because from what they saw and the observation he really approached this game with mentality for his players to cross the ball into the penalty box and for his other players to try to score which did not work.

Congratulations to Tottenham and the coach who has giving Tottenham something to celebrate after so many years.

Despite Tottenham poor performance this season, they've been treating Manchester United the same way Barcelona treated Real Madrid this season by beating in every encounter. Tottenham beat Manchester United at home and away this season and now beat them again on neutral stadium. The errors that led to this defeat are numerous in the part of players and also from the coach.

Amorin made his substitution lately and yet, he substitute the wrong players and put the wrong ones too making the more complicated. Starting Shaw and Mason mount was a mistake but allowing them to play almost full time is the worst decision Amorin took. The best solution for mistakes is correction, not adding more problem. It's unfortunate how he noticed the errors but still decided to keep observing until the error can not corrected.

Spurs cannot stop beating Manchester United this season, this is the fourth time they are defeating the Red Devils and i guess it is safe to say that this is the most painful of all the deafeats they have suffered in the hands of Spurs this season. Congratulations to Ange and his team and Ange was correct all along when he told us that he always won something in his second season, and that is exactly what he has gone and done.

That said, United has a big decision to make on Amorim's future, i reckon they won't sack him, but i am also certain that nothing will change for them next season, Amorim is an average manager at best, nothing special.

Finally finally finally for the first time in history Tottenham managed to fill the display cabinet with trophies, this must also make Harry Kane proud. There is not much I can say because in terms of quality the match was very boring.

It is for the fist time that Tottenham wins the Europa league trophy. Even if they performed badly in domestic competition, they could win a great trophy of UEL. In this final UEL, they also actually didn't play very impressive but they were lucky scoring a single goal. However, they deserve to win it.

I agree that they are just unlucky. They have tried to play with an offensive tactic, unfortunately they failed to score goals. Tottenham defense looked better than Man United defense. Even if Man United made many attempts, but there was no conceded goal for Tottenham. Meanwhile Man United, they were conceded 1 goal although Tottenham only made 1 shot on target. I can agree that it is a nightmare for Man United, it proves they have very poor defense.

Yep, everyone expected much on Man United but Man United players couldn't show their best. They only made many shot attempts but they scored no goal. I think they don't have enough quality attackers, especially for the striker position. There should be a new striker for the next season. Also, I really feel unsatisfied with Man United defenders. They are lack of quality, they can't played solidly. It is better to sell most of the current defenders in the next transfer windows. In addition, I think using 3 backs isn't suitable for Man United (especially against EPL teams).

Tottenham had absolutely nothing in this match apart from a strong defense and goalkeeper, Manchester United were better in every aspect, but that single desire to win the title turned them into a beast of what they knew how to do best and relied upon, which is defense. Their hard work paid off finally, congratulations to them.

Nothing surprising out there. After Johnson scored the only goal of the game for Tottenham Hotspur, they returned to their half part of the field and kept defending. Manchester United tried their chances but it was poor, one of the attempts was Hojlund one but far from entering the net. Hopefully this will be a lesson for Manchester United to focus more on their choices about players and coaches in the future.

They feel that they are the best club in the UEFA Europa League because so far their performance has been quite convincing in the UEL (except in the EPL). It's just that, indeed, in the final, anything can happen. Let's see, even Man United is very attacking, dominating the game, but they failed to score a single goal.

The Europa was really meant for Tottenham not Manchester United. Because if it was by performance, Manchester United beat Tottenham flawlessly. That will not be counted though because at the end of the very match what people care to know is the team that later scored goals more than the other team, not the team that had the best performance. As I already said before, even MU has never defeated on Europa League, MU also has never win when meet Tottenham on the last 6 matches. This is an important thing that should be Amorim think before kick off because Tottenham will use the same way to make them trouble. As I said in the Premier League's thread, I really don't believe in Tottenham's and Manchester United's league places: they are way better than that, probably at a certain point they realized that it was better to try to get a Champions League spot by winning the Europa League instead of trying to improve their league situation, which was extremely bad. Manchester United failed and they got double failures, no Europa League title and no chance of playing in Champions League next season while in Premier League, using a word like failure is too soft for them. This season is complete failure for Manchester United and Ruben Amorim will have to work hard in the summer transfer season and trainings with no booster from Champions League ticket. He will struggle to attract star players joining the club in the summer transfer season.
