Learn about both is what that is very important. Learning about them will let you know the one you should invest on. If you have enough money that you can invest in both, that is better. But it is worth knowing that in crypto, I prefer bitcoin which I see as the only crypto asset that will still deliver in long term.

2025 is also predicted to be a very good year for cryptocurrency, just as it is for stocks too. IMO, it can be good to spread your tentacles and have both investments in cryptocurrency and also in stocks. The goal is to profit, and if there is analysis to profit from the two opportunities, you should take it.

The mistake some newbies in this same position will make will be to abandon investment in cryptocurrency for stocks.

I recommend you to watch "The big short". A movie on Netflix and randomly available on the internet, talking about investment prodigy Michael Burry who sold the entire stock portfolio of all clients he was managing in 2008.

He predicted the housing market crash and the economic meltdown.

I am telling you that a new crisis is looming, far worse than 2008 because the debt is now 3.5x larger.
We are right in front of an economic depression and I really don't think you want to own any stocks in a depression.

I am all about commodities now. Precious metals and some crypto projects.
I believe that many people are going to lose absolutely everything in the coming years.

I consistently put some of my portfolio to any semiconductor and microchip related investment like NVDA, AMD and it's been great . honestly when it comes to stock I just stick with those tech related stock for juicy gain.
after extensive experience in crypto, i just don't have the appetite for a long winding small growth stock anymore so tech stock is great.

my advice is just do it, you will also essentially diversify your portfolio in a true sense because stock and crypto doesn't move in unison unlike btc and alts.

Yes, you said something right, because when we have good knowledge about both then we can choose which one can give us greater benefits. But also agree if you can do both, then why choose one. I am someone who likes to take advantage of anything that can be done, especially if I know it well. For example in the crypto world, people ask which is better altcoin or bitcoin. Well if we take advantage of both then it is better to take advantage of both, because both altcoin and bitcoin have the same opportunity to give us decent profits, and then adjust it to our strategy.

My choice is dependent a lot on what I can afford to invest in. I can’t invest in both, money-wise. I can’t focus in both, time-wise, due to other factors I have got going on in life. So, I have to choose only one and now it’s crypto.

I am not doubtful that there is any money in stocks but right now crypto is much more profitable than stocks and I am sure lots of people observe this too even stock investors. If it were just up to me, I’ll invest in both.

Stocks have minimal risk and if you're used to the volatility of crypto, you'd probably just convert them back to crypto. In uncertain times, it's best to just keep it in crypto. It's liquid and you also have the option to convert it into stable coins.

While I think it's ideal to have both if you're someone looking forward to your future with all of these holdings, it's fine and not a problem at all. But if given that I only have enough funds and I need to make choices, I'd simply not going to put any effort anymore to it and will stay into crypto.

And as for crypto, 100% Bitcoin.

I choose crypto than stocks because that will not easy for me to learn stocks. If you want to enter to stocks, you need to analyze the time so you will not pick a wrong time. I don't know if that is easy or difficult, but perhaps that will be more learning to understand about stocks.

Diversify our investment in stocks is a good idea but you must makes sure that you understand how to do that.

Almost everybody agrees that diversifying is the key, if you afford it.
Imho stocks are risky in 2025, the economy is not healthy enough for that. So if I'd have to choose it would probably be - in this order - bitcoin, bonds, gold and art. I am not that far though, for now I'm still stacking sats.

PS. speculating with altcoins is also an option, but (imho) never make the mistake to put significant/life changing amounts in there.

Both. And why not commodities, startups / IPOs also. But when people usually talk investing into "crypto" they talk about either top coins or buying enough for stacking.

When people talk about investing into stocks, they either talk about investing trough companies that do it for you or that they want to pick the stocks themselves. So which one you are preferring?

Imho stocks have way more real world feeling in them, as a shareholder you have rights (if you aren't just buying synthetics that mimic the value) versus a coin holder, which have none, unless you pick a coin that has voting option.

Doesnt matter on which one on which we do know that diversification will really be always best on which it will really be that just basing up into the amount or money that you do have or simply with the financial capability that you do have. It will really really be that best that you wont really be that just limiting yourself on investing into one source on which it will be that recommended that you do set out on different areas on which you do know that it could bring out that kind of benefits towards your finances. Although this will really be that getting involved with risks and money then it will really be that up to you whether you could embrace out that risks and could be able to handle it out without any issues. If you arent that prepared for other industries or way of investment then it will be better that you should really be sticking into the things on which you do know that you do have that knowledge or idea. Its not bad to test out some other areas as long  you can dive in with opportunity then there's no issue into this one.Just make it sure that you do really know on what you are really that dealing into.

Its impossible that you wont really be able to recognize or point out about into the difference in between traditional markets or investment in comparing into crypto. That's right; if you can do both, then that would be the ideal option. Diversification is vital when it comes to investment, as a way to minimize risk and simultaneously maximize potential earnings. I believe that they are both good choice to invest in but it’s also important to know how they both work, the advantage and disadvantages and how to well positioned for them to be on the profitable side. FED and ECB cutting down cost doesn’t mean it may be like that in the future, so know when and why you should go for an asset is very important. They are both two good options to diversify your assets into as they’re profitable in the future and the backlogs of one will not affect you entirely.

In short term they are both good and bad at the same time. In long term they are both good for diversification.

For the time being because of the uncertainty in the markets, specially stock market in the West due to coming of Trump, the markets will be volatile and unpredictable to some extent. Obviously that is good and bad at the same time. Good because volatile market always translates into making more profit but it is also bad because volatile market is also unpredictable and making a small mistake leads to losses.

@OP, sincerely speaking, I love both type of investment and would invest on them. There's this law of investment which tells us not to have all our eggs in one basket. So, if you actually have a large amount of capital, it's not a bad decisions to invest in crypto and stocks. What you are after is to make profit and you will definitely make profit if you invest on the right asset. We have different stocks as much as we have different crypto, which I will only prefer to invest in Bitcoin but for stocks, you will also need to have a good knowledge of the one you want to buy.

I went the opposite way, first stocks and then I got into investing in bitcoin (not crypto). If you are on this forum you surely believe that bitcoin has a great future, then putting money into something other than bitcoin is losing profitability, at least potentially. But if you have doubts it is good to diversify. More than stocks, the safest and most profitable in the long term is a fund indexed to the S&P 500, although lately I prefer an indexed to the Nasdaq 100.

If you ask me, I will always go for the one that I understand, which is crypto. I'm not very knowledgeable about the stock market, which will leave me with the option of only investing in crypto.

If I'm to diversify my assets, I will have to study and invest in different coins, which I know how to follow and manage, and it's easier for me rather than venturing into something I don't have much knowledge about, but for those who know how the stock market works, they can give it a try and receive profit from both sides in whichever direction they want to bring profit first.

Many stocks has refused to perform, we all experienced how stock went from average to bad and then boom during Donald Trump regime and everyone was happy, he fought inflation to where he met it before he came to office. Tesla was one of the best performing stock that time and Elon been politically attached to Donald Trump will influence the stock Market especially now that he is trying to cut taxes, this will have huge influence on flow of money to stock.

To also make this administration better than what Biden and Kamala has done, the government might also be willing to pump this stocks for the interest of the investors and encourage more investment into the united state. So I strongly advise having some in your portfolio, crypto can't be the only thing that will always be influenced all the time, even stock have their good moments too, more preferably the S&P500 and many related ones.
