Yes, wealth can come from several sources. But I don't think you can get wealthy through your income from just your profession alone. Investments can help with that. With just the income from your job, you'll have to settle bills, which depending on your marital status, can be large enough to eat a major chunk of your income.
You noted that you hardly see a rich person without having an investment somewhere. That's simply to show just how investments are vital in creating and maintaining wealth. Relying on just your income from your job would not get you wealthy.

It actually depends on the nature of your job and the income you are getting from it. There are professionals who make 4 to 5 figure incomes every month, and with such an income, it's possible for one to get rich, and those who earn that much money only from their job and then invest that money somewhere, they start businesses, buy properties, and that's how they diversify their wealth instead of just keeping it all in a bank and watching it lose purchasing power over time.

Those who earn low incomes can obviously not become rich, and it's even become problematic for them to save money from their income, especially if they have a family to take care of as you said. If you are a bachelor, you won't have a lot of expenses and you might be able to save a few bucks every month, and then invest that money somewhere, but if you are married, have a wife and kids, you will not be able to save anything because the expenses will mostly eat up all your income if you have only one.

In reality, investing is just one path to wealth, after initially developing strong insights and skills. Then, they eventually develop their businesses, and their businesses grow. Then, when they have more profits, they start investing in other things to further expand their wealth.

So, in my opinion, most successful and wealthy people still start with strong insights and skills, and they apply them to the right business, and that's where they become rich. So, the path to wealth is still through business. Investment is simply a path to further wealth. While some people do become rich through investing alone, most wealthy people emerge through businesses that thrive and continue to grow.

But when it comes to investing, perhaps they also have the insights and skills to begin with because they invested in them early in their careers.

One thing we should all know is that there is no success without a positive sacrifice, that sacrifice you are making determine your future no sacrifice no investment.
Before you pursue a career you must sacrifice or labour for it to achieve it in life.

Almost all of us here in this forum lay down some sacrifices and labour so had to get to were they are today that is (achievement) because you have achieved a positive means of survival then comes INVESTMENT, so there are people around me who broke the chain of poverty before they begin investment, you can just begin to invest when you don't have the capital to do so.

The main basis for achieving success is personal skills, self-development and hard work. There are many who want to become rich by relying on investment after seeing some examples of success. However, in reality, this path is risky.
To achieve success in investment, one must have the ability to make decisions at the right time, market analysis, risk management and planning. Because when someone enters an investment just by looking at others without any knowledge or planning of his own, then he will not be able to hold his investment for a long time because the market fluctuations will affect him.
However, it is not necessary to invest only to become rich. If someone has skills, hard work and self-development, then he can achieve success in any work. When someone depends only on investment to become rich, success may or may not come if he does not have the right plan.
You can become rich by investing, but the main tool for becoming rich is personal skills and self-development.
