Every other day somebody claims this and posts some data, but it has not come true. Why would it come true now? Don't spend too much time reading low quality articles.

It is coming, what we saw at the end of 2024 when XRP did 500% in a month and a few other coins did 10x was not a proper alt season.

Like i said though, i dont think it will come till end of the year so for now i am just doing nothing. I feel I have bought enough altcoins at the lows so now i just wait for altseason whenever it will be.

I know its not guaranteed, but i will be shocked if we dont have a least a mini altseason at some point in the next 3-6 months.

Been in crypto few years , none of us have any idea which way this market is heading.  Feels like so much manipulation going on this year.

We have had 5 months of downward action for altcoins and as i dont believe we are in a bear market, i expect them to go on a run at some point.

Just not sure if it will be this month or if we have to wait til Q4 which are usually the best months for the market.

You might need to wait until October for prices to "pump". After all, that's the season when the market turns bullish (usually named as "Uptober"). Right now, all of the attention is on Bitcoin because institutional investors are buying it up like crazy. Governments are getting involved, too. Meanwhile, alts like Ethereum, Solana, and XRP are being left behind in the dust. ETH has institutional demand, but it's nowhere near comparable as Bitcoin. The facts are the facts.

I'd suggest you keep buying "cheap" alts to prepare yourself for the next altcoin season. I have a few myself, and I'm not willing to sell until then. Who knows? Either we get lucky or we lose it all in an instant. Only time will tell...

History has proven that you should never be bag-holding altcoins to hope every day for a pump that may never come to be able to dump them to get your capital out. That has always led to losses in form of watching your money melt.
Not to mention the opportunities of making profit that will be lost when the funds are locked into some shitcoin that is not pumping...

Everyday pump is I think still possible when the market condition is great but this can also be useless if the OP will still be greedy to wait for a better selling price. When the market is in a good condition, there is a big chance that many shitcoins also pumps up. They can even pump on their own on a normal market.

So I think they are actually a good addition to us. By addition, I don't mean putting big amounts on them (only to be clear). Anyways, I will do sell on the next altcoin pump, as I don't like wasting good opportunities like that. You know, they can also come rarely. I can even sell on a normal increase and sometimes on a simple recovery if I'm in need of money.

If we get a solid pump soon, I’ll probably take some profits this time. Last run I held too long hoping for more and then watched it dip hard. I’m still bullish for the rest of the year, but locking in some gains sounds smarter now, especially after how shaky the market’s been.

Most altcoins are down good compared to their previous ATHs. Actually the whole altcoin market cap is shrinking compared to the last bull run, but you use a few individual examples to say that it is coming. 

I know its not guaranteed, but i will be shocked if we dont have a least a mini altseason at some point in the next 3-6 months.

Don't go moving the goalposts now. Altcoins doing a small recovery because of money printing or lowered interest rates does not make something an altcoin season.

Same , i believe we will have some kind of pump this month but summer is usually down and sideways so want to take profits before the summer lull.

I will then take most of my profits in Q4 later this year when we usually see best returns for our altcoins.

Lets see , the fact is none of us know for sure what is going to happen.   Altcoins could only have a small pump before bear market returns for a few years or they could have a decent altseason and that is what most of us are betting on.

I am not holding too many altcoins because I don't trust altcoins that much. We have seen some tragic incidents in the past with altcoins, and that has made me vigilant about my investment choices, especially if I'm planning to buy and hold an asset for the long term. I'm mostly invested heavily in Bitcoin, and a few altcoins that I trust the most because I know I can get some profits from them, but I don't want to take too many risks. I know altcoins can be very profitable sometimes, but it's not worth the risks involved, in my opinion.

For me, having most of my capital in Bitcoin, a portion of it in a few top altcoins, and the rest in trading is the best way to move forward. I keep liquid assets that I use for trading activities, and I must say that trading can be very profitable at times if you know how to manage your trades and risk-reward ratio. Don't trade blindly, of course, and make sure you have your stop-losses in place at all times to avoid excessive losses.

Altcoins are never coins to hold for a long time. So when a good pump is seen, I sell my altcoins. I never hope for a market pump. In the case of altcoins, I sell the altcoins that I have as soon as I get some profit. So I will never hold my altcoins in the next market pump. Those who hold their altcoins during a market pump always show themselves as fools. Because you should not hold any other coin except Bitcoin if you get a good profit. I always consider altcoins as an on-time investment. And I wait for the moment when I can get 20% or more profit from there.

Honestly, you are missing up your statements, i hardly get your points.
Let me put it straight, many altcoin holders that sell during a pump or bull market, and those that hold their altcoin during the bull run never show themselves as fool, they have their plans, which may be holding these altcoins for the long term. As a matter of facts, every altcoin holders has their plans strategies, they are many holders with good knowledge and experience of the altcoins market, and will sell on a planned targets.

I am am not sure how it would be more manipulated then during past cycles, as back in then it required less money anyway. There's still ton of wash trading happening all around though and i am surprised how nothing is done about it..

Also, imho bear cycle isn't confirmed by btc yet, so it's just a possibility among any other for now, but it looks awfully like there's a change for pattern repetition to me.

I wouldn't mind being wrong about this though, as i would benefit more from altcoin season.

Yes we have to keep waiting , its very boring as we are now 5 months into year and no altcoin pump yet.

I dont think altcoins will really start moving again till September/October time , but lets see we might have a smaller rally before then.

Every market pump theres is a market dump so if you see the opportunity for the next market price to go soar high i guess most of all will grab the chance. Every market price of the bitcoin goes up also the altcoins follows and during the hype we will ride. As of now i make take profits with the BTC so accumulate of altcoins is a good chance but again some of the coins are dependent with BTC price so be careful on your trades.

I'm still waiting for this promised altcoin season that seems to never come. Don't readers know that actually this is the longest bear market ever for altcoins and that the altcoin market capitalization is actually shrinking? It is easy to be fooled by Coingecko and similar websites.

None of us know what is going on.

Were you here end of 2024 when altcoins last pumped?

That will likely happen again, just have no idea if it will be soon or not till Q4 this year which is usually the best quarter of the year.

Either way I am waiting for it to happen.

Crypto is the only place where you can 5x or more your portfolio in just a few months so don't give up with it yet just keep holding.
