There must be cases of scams that have happened through Discord, but maybe not as rampant as Telegram's. What it just means is that although there are scammers there, it is a small number compared to Telegram. Scammers are everywhere, even on this forum. It is best you still exercise the same level of caution that you exercise on other platforms when you get on Discord.

Yea that’s true, there are scammers everywhere, but the rate at which they are used to Telegram is alarming and I think this the main reason why most platforms don’t rely on telegram completely when sharing their information because if they attempt doing something serious through Telegram, scammers can easily compromise it be newbies that have no idea will easily fall for their scam.

Discord do have scammers as well, but I think it is minimal compared to Telegram and other social media, and I don’t think people understand how to use discord that much compared to telegram, therefore, people like me don’t like discord that much because it’s difficult to operate somehow, but it have good features.

We as gamblers really need to be careful with these scammers. They're very clever, so we have to be smarter than them; it's that simple.

I'm not that fond of Telegran and I rarely use it, so I never bothered to edit the privacy settings to disallow messages from random people (I don’t think it’s the best solution anyway). So, whenever I join a casino or an exchange official group, I instantly start receiving unsolicited messages from people impersonating the exchange/casino's team in which they give you fake offers with phishing links.
I'm pretty sure they are doing the same with all other group members, and the fact they are still doing it sadly means that some unwaranted users fall for it.

Most of the feature of the telegram is available on discord while telegram lacks a lot of feature from discord. The only advantage of telegram over discord for me is the user friendly since it plain and simple to use compared to discord.

It’s always the user preference matter but feature wise discord has clear advantage.

You’re right, this sneaky bastard usually copy everything from an admin especially the username that typically change a little bit like “o” to “0” and other letter to number changes just to look like he is the real admin.

Admins never DM first, never ask for money, never ask for private keys and so on. Remember this principle and people who know about this as well as are careful enough will not be scammed by impersonators.

Some of the victims of scams unknowingly made themselves targets by exposing their vulnerabilities.

Imagine a scenario where a newbie on a Telegram group announces that they are new and will need some help with likely something they are ignorant of and interested in learning. They will be welcoming to any private message they get from anyone claiming to be admin or someone who can offer them the help they need. They make the mistake of seeing the person offering them help as someone who is just kind. A big and costly mistake!

In all the criminal platforms are always there, or the scammer must be there wherever you are, it depends on how you interact with them and what you do.

In terms of all the safety is also fairly safe in my opinion if done very well for yourself in the data or whatever, also with your interaction, as long as you do not open yourself and or do not care about your own safety, any application will not be able to protect it.

Wagering 2K for a reward of 40$ is still sounds good for me especially if you will just play normally then combine it with low house edge game like plinko.

You will reach that wager with minimal loss and still earn the tournament rewards.

Some casino offer a terrible rewards for 2K wager such as 5$ and below. That 40$ rewards is 2% of the wager which is higher than the house edge of the games which is why it’s worth it to chase.

Thanks on the feedback above. I have my suspicion that the problem is on my side only since the chatbox is working properly but still I need to verify before I do necessary action to solve my problem.
