What i understand with the term learning from your mistakes is that, is a phrase that is use to point a gambler tonthe fact tbat he lost the games because of certainly actions that he have refused to take and utilizing the chances presented during the game, quiting is not a part of this because quiting is entirely a different thing all together, when we talk about gambling addictions, we can suggest quiting as a solution, but when it come to loses and how to adjust to reduce the chances of losing again, that is where applications of tactics comes to play.

non of the above, because non of them have any connections with gambling addiction, let's say you have a particular pattern you exhibit while gambling and that pattern has been making you to loose games and you discovered it and stop using that pattern, and since you stopped using that pattern you been winning your bets, then you have learned from your previous mistakes, and you can still be gambling and say that you have learned from your mistakes.

And concerning gambling addiction The best thing to do is never to allow yourself to get addicted to gambling, so IMO I suggest you lean from other people's mistakes and not from your own mistakes, because gambling addiction has really destroyed a lot of people, so avoid getting addicted to gambling.

The gambling platform is a place where no one can say for sure that he will win. This means that most gambling results depend on luck. Learning from mistakes in gambling means that you have to be patient and have the ability to manage your emotions. You have to avoid excitement when gambling and winning. If you are a gambler, you will see that most of the time the main reason for losing is not being able to calm down the excitement.

If you can calm down your excitement in any gambling situation, then it is possible to reduce the amount of your losses a lot. Most of the time I stop playing because the day I lose gambling more than once, I think that day maybe it is not suitable for me to win, so I stop playing and prepare for the next day.

Well, both are signs that you have learned because different people have applied both systems and it is working for them...But it's best if you stop and my reason for saying that is because you need to block out anything that might trigger you..it's easy to say that you are in control of your actions based on what you have learnt from your past experiences but it isn't really safe to continue, you might end up doing something stupid again

Continuing with a careful approach is also about learning from mistakes. Both can be good for a gambler because he knows the risk of gambling and will start to change the approach when betting or depositing.
This is where control will happen. Mental control, precisely. When a gambler who will continue to gamble can start to take a long rest after defeat, he becomes responsible. He knows that he cannot go on and just waste more money, and there's always tomorrow to try again without depleting the budget.

I was addicted (not to gambling but another habit) and I discovered that my only option is to quit totally. This is because each time I put effort into engaging moderately, I keep going deeper. But totally abstaining has proved to be more effective than control.  Nevertheless, I am aware of people who have been able to control their gambling habits after fighting addiction. My conclusion is that everyone should do a self-examination and identify which pattern works best for them.

Learning from mistakes could stop gambling or develop the ability to gamble responsibly. As regards my gambling life, I have been able to find a balance by having a budget that I follow meticulously.

Quitting & moving on is a perfectly fine thing to do... That is a sign you have learned that you can't control yourself while gambling, and it's better to stay as far away from gambling as possible. It's a good thing when someone figures that out about themselves...

And it's also perfectly fine to limit the time & money you spend on gambling. I guess the thing is to know yourself and to find what is causing you troubles & joys... and then act accordingly.

In my opinion, raraely people understand that they have an issue with gambling. At least initially it's close to impossible that some one could realize that... well there is a problem.
For sure make a stop is a great way to recover back and analize what happens. You may know very well what must be changed and what not.
I am somewhat saying the same thing. Adopt immediately cold wallet or timelock. this is the only solution for your coins and to avoid issue for addition.

I have lost huge amount of money in gambling and I have learned from my mistakes, I noticed this made me not to be gambling so frequently unlike before that I have not learned anything.

If you learn from your mistake, I do not think you should stop gambling, but if you continue to gamble and think you feel like you are still kind of addicted to gambling or spending too much money on it, it is better you should just quit gambling.

If you have learned something from gambling, then there is no point in quitting it forever. Because learning means being able to control your emotions and perhaps even earn some money, even if it’s not much. However, if you keep losing one time after another and cannot control yourself when a losing streak happens, then perhaps the best decision for you would be to leave gambling forever. But that’s also not easy to do if it has become a habit, there are players who would like to stop but can't do it.

This is a very sensitive question and I must say that it depends on the individual and what they hope to achieve before making the decision to quit.
Some could be repentant and decide to quit, but those who are learned enough and have no issues with gambling as a source of pleasure or fun can learn ways to control their gambling addiction or by studying up on the best risk management practices, can put them into play when they resume after the break.

I think it really depends on how deep your addiction is. If it’s already at its worst then the best move is to completely stop for now. That doesn’t mean you’ll hate gambling forever once you’re fully healed and in control again you can always come back.

But if you return and still repeat the same mistakes, that’s probably the point where you should accept that gambling just isn’t for you.

It all depends on which of it that works for you, some persons will want to take a off completely from gambling activities and that's their own personal decision and a way of showing that they have had a enough of it and need to quit at once before causing further damage to them, while some other persons will prefer taking precautionary measures and being more careful while still gambling, so it all fall on which one of it that suits you as a gambler.

However, the most important thing is that if one can be able to notice or realize actually when he or she is heading towards addiction and fight it at the initial stage by slowing down in your stakes or bet, therefore having done these as a gambler you can be rest ensured of being a responsible and healthy gambler.

From my experience, I see that if you make big mistakes in gambling, the most important thing is to learn to avoid them in the future. I don’t know what exactly controls this, but I know there’s something that makes me want to repeat the mistake again. If you can avoid that, then I think gambling can be a safe activity for you. I mean, there was a time when I went all-in and lost my entire deposit. Now I restrain myself from doing that again, but sometimes, when I feel too confident in a bet, I still want to do it. It seems to me that if you know you shouldn’t do something but still feel the urge to repeat it, and you give in, then it’s probably time to quit gambling forever.

Stopping might be one of the solution, but it isn't the ONLY solution that we need.
Stopping is one, but we ourselves must have discipline as well.

Yes, we can quit and learn from those mistakes that we have done in the past, but there's a lot of temptations around us that relates to gambling, and most gamblers who have stopped gambling already might return just because they saw somebody won a huge amount and they want to experience that as well hence, going back to gambling. Stopping can be a sign, but you can still gamble, not stopping and still don't get addicted from it. Also, an addicted gambler will have a hard time to stop, and sometimes, the way for to know that they've learned already is when they stop AND they aren't get tempted from various temptations out there.

Gambling is a personal decision, which we might not really decide for others. Of course, as a good gambler, if you find out that you can control yourself in gambling, it's better to quit permanently than for you to stop for a little time and end up getting addicted to gambling. Though, taking correction from our past mistakes is something that most gamblers normally find very difficult, which causes many losses in gambling because they always believe they'll recover losses quickly.
