If I understood you correctly and from my little knowledge of KYC and IP in an online casino, your account is only suspended if another player logs in to their account using the same device, that is the same IP address. Aside that you can change IP address as long as it is not in a geo-restricted country or using of VPN where it is not.

KYC has nothing to do here, the issue is you gambling in restricted locations. Whether you are KYC verified or not, your account will still be flagged if used in a restricted location. Just because of this using many IPs have problems for users because casinos always check few things before going for withdrawal and if they found anything suspicious they will stop your withdrawal and can flag your account as well.

In short, yes, you may face issues with the casino site. Using a VPN for a specific country or travelling to that country, both are indirectly the same thing at the casino site's end.

There are words in the terms of service that specify that people from these locations are banned from their platform. Check the TOS and ask for support to clarify this.

Usually casinos will have a geoblock if you try to access from a country where it is restricted so it is safe to say you can't unintentionally login to your account from a restricted nation and even if you did I believe it is not a big issue, casino will just ask for KYC and let you have your account back and we need to worry if it's other way round, accessing casino from restricted country and use fake KYC details will get them into trouble.
