Look at that 3 day chart - just bliss!
Theirs been no "real" pumps whatsoever.
Just a few mini whales trying way too hard and getting nowhere.

I missed the pump.
What pump? it was price correction, this coin is still massive undervalued. So we will see a lot of price correction upward. You know, somebody bought at 800satoshi, and most of them sold at 8k satoshi. The ones that bought at 8k satoshi, most of them sold at 16k satoshi, so the ones bought at 16k satoshi... We will see that trend too 100k satoshi. Than we get to the true market cap this coin has. Than we will probably started to see real pumps and dumps over 100k satoshi. Why so many price correction, because at the start this coin had some problems, and price was to low for the true start value of this coin. But funny thing there is no sell out, no big pumps, no price manipulation it's only price corrections to the real value. To the true market cap. |

If you want a rich list you have two options. You can make it yourself. I would recommend blockparser. I even have a version for VeriCoin that half works ( http://github.com/pnosker/blockparser). Feel free to use that as the basis for your own to generate a rich list. The other option is to donate something to the BTC or VRC wallets belonging to the VeriFund. We will make sure it goes to somebody who advertises they will make a rich list. Frankly, we are spending our time developing features. Not making you more at ease that whales aren't going to dump on you. You can live with that or not. effectsToCause and I designed VeriCoin not to get rich (that would be nice) but rather as an exercise in making the best damn coin around. The best all around coin with fast transactions, high security, a reward for holders (dynamic PoS), accessibility (SMS wallet), and ease of spending. We are working on ANON just because it's been requested so many times though please mark my words: VeriCoin is not an ANON coin. It will be a great coin that happens to have the ability to perform anonymous transactions. I hope this answered most of your questions. TLDR: Either make the rich list yourself or buy it. We don't have time to do something that isn't an integral part of the coin. VRC will have ANON but ANON is not the selling point of the coin. The well-roundedness is. |

As we have seen even the best coins like Darkcoin and Blackcoin can be pumped, but the price is still orders of magnitude higher than the value it was before the rise to fame. You should only really be afraid if a good coin like this is being "pumped" if you buy at the top when the market cap is 50 or 100 million dollars. If you bought early you have nothing to worry about. You could probably buy now and leave and check back in a month and still make a tidy profit even if you miss the peak.
A rich list is pointless. Whales will split their balance into many addresses. Only people who want to feel good about themselves and show off will put their entire balance in one address. Also a lot of people just have a lot of coins on Mintpal and they never see a wallet. Basically a rich list is just to make people feel good about owning what they feel is a lot of coins.
