So the AE assets have a "deadline" of the 29th, but can be redeemed afterwards at no penalty? Why set a deadline?
the deadline is set so theres a clear line as to who will be in the genesis or not. there needs to be a certain amount of time between finalizing the list of addresses and launching the blockchain. OK, so it will still be possible to redeem and trade NEMstakes on the AE for the two months after the deadline? Technically yes. In this case, will launch be put back to February ? Where is that coming from ? Launch is only being pushed if there are technical reasons. We won't push launch because people are not redeeming. People are already thinking its ok to trade on AE for another 2 months........ Let them. They won't be in nemesis then. Was I reading wrongly that no penalties were to occur for 2 months after redemption date....29 th.....? No. They will get their full stake. Not being in genesis after launch is not a penalty it's just a fact. If you wait for after launch it's kinda impossible to be in genesis. |

Aggreed. I also don't get what's wrong with that. Nothing wrong with that as long as the guys on AE get out on time and are aware of the launch. I suppose I am not as patient as you guys. I would like to see the Nemesis block complete so that we can then go on to talk about what can be done with unclaimed stakes etc....and yes , we cant go on till the devs are ready......I know...... |

At the minimum they should have been penalised. If they can not be bothered to register on time they deserve a lesser stake. |
