why on official website at upper left or on right xem price isn't written? why there is no everything on homepage of instruction how many xem coins anywhere? why on homepage of nem.io website isn't present words about specification of a cryptoplatform? we only see foolish video which nobody watches, not beautiful big links to twitter, and these inscriptions - buy! buy! buy!

at moment on contrary future xem is foggy. look at volume xem and look at volume btc? volume is main thing. it means financial support. there is no financial support- there is no volume. that we also see on xem.

btc will live at such volume and here xem will die gradually slowly. because there is no financial support. nobody buys xem. all volume becomes due to sales and because of it the price constantly falls down. if to look narrowly more xem sell that than buy.

on a place of devs i would address to experts in financial markets to learn from them how to lift volume. the raising of purchasing power is very important. without purchases of xem coin will die. and as if you guys didn't say price and volume it isn't important, you already in market. and here it is necessary to occupy niche and to occupy volume in market in respect of services and services. if you aren't able to fit into market that it will swallow you and will spit out. as a result of xem will die.

I agree.  The problem right now with marketcap being low and volume not that high is trying to sell XEM to fund those better PR.  I guess it is the old chicken and the egg problem. hahahaha

if NEM becomes independent of Bitcoin and pegged to Fiat that would be a HUGE win

when connect fiat it will be very convenient to buy xem directly for fiat bypassing btc. most important that is as much as possible payment processors and electronic payment systems exchange with fiat supported.

i think an exchange for fiat will include such payment processors as pay pal, perfect money, visa, master card, btc-e code, and others most popular in other countries. for example chinese union pay processors, or russian qiwi visa wallet processors, and so on. xem has to capture to maximum all countries of the world. this niche of fiat exchange.

worldwide it has to be easy for local currency and local largest processor of payment to buy cryptocurrency of xem. it will also be to occupy niche in market and to capture a territory maximum where xem could be bought easily for fiat.

but also besides connection to fiat it is necessary to dev a services sector and to spend funds for promotion of services sectors. in this case there has to be not pr of a coin xem and pr of services which accept for payment xem. all promotion has to go for services and services sectors. that on what users have to spend xem but not hold them bags on a wallet.

What is POI?
POI is the consensus algorithm used in NEM to determine who will calculate the next block. An account's importance is determined by how many coins it contains and the number of transactions made to and from that account. POI is different from other initiatives which use a fee-sharing model that does not take into consideration one's overall support of the network. In some proof-of-stake systems a person only needs to have large amounts of coins to form a block; however, in NEM the transaction amount as well as support of the network become a factor. I think that if bitcoin can continue to rise, a price increase and increase in interest in altcoins in general will be inevitable. NEM will see it's shining times again, i'm sure of it!

then people will look for Gold then silver but in stock there will be any availbe so people will look for BTC as alternative asset which will protect you from inflation.

Personally i belive in that "QE"- printing money by central banks will  lead people to BTC and then some people will seek for alternativs and NEM have HUGE rise pottencial. Then not much marketing is needed.
Marketing is mostly needed when you want sell overpriced product amd need money for developing.
So far i see NEM have great coders and is worth to stick with it.

I think that NXT could be alot better with more marketing too.
However its better to show the proof of the pudding rather than hype up a currency because of its features etc. Let people see how good it is for themselves and people will spread the word if its that amazing!
