We would need to get some local and/or national governments to use NEM. Actually, NEM's P2P time service ( www.nem.io/NEM_techRef.pdf, chapter 8.) makes time stamps of transactions more reliable than for other chains. I think with some proper framing, we can make a very strong case for using the public NEM infrastructure for notarization. |

NEM's distribution makes it hard to be manipulated. As a result, the price has demonstrated to be stable and more predictable. Good and bad. But in the long run, NEM's deployments will show its true value. |

After you strip away all the foolishness two things remain.
1. He abused the trust of a nem community member for his personal gain.
That is unethical.
2. He hacked one or more exchanges.
That is criminal. You cannot "test" hack a server or service without prior permission.

No it is not. "Test" hacking a server or service is illegal and a criminal act. Much like "test" breaking into someones home. The man holds keys to nem developer funds. So yes it should be addressed here.
