I have two and a half men nem stakes but I am to stupid to harvest. Could run 2 supernodes but I do not even dare to think about. Any safe method to participate a "harvest pool"?

I dont get NEM. NEM creates blockchain software that can be used by banks (mijin)? But why do we have XEM then? What is the connection?
The beauty with this system is that banks and other financial institutions want their own private blockchain, which mijin offers. This will offer them a high TPS with low cost instead of lots of fees. The second advantage is this demonstrates the power of NEM, because its based on the exact same technology! And to top it off, both NEM and Mijin are designed to work together, so people can have the best of both worlds.

Count me in here too If the limit is lowered to the amount of one nem stake to run a node, then i think thats a fair amount, since thats the original minimum amount that investors held if they had a stake from day one

Supernode program starts 1 June. Devs talking here about it long before. Then nem was cheap, and every body who was truly interested to support nem network buy some missing coins.
Now price go up, supernode profit either, and that we see now? some users began to really worry about the security of the network because of the small number of supernodes! They are asking to lower the entry threshold. probably because they are worried now! For now, the network is in great danger without their supernodes !!!

There is an easy step by step Tutorial for setting up a Supernode: https://forum.nem.io/t/nem-supernode-command-line-tutorial-for-debian-8-4It´s really just some copy/paste in Terminal/Putty. If you tried to confuse me - be happy you were successful. My suggestion for a supernode setup is as follows. The devS (ore someone else) create "empty supernodes", on order, tested with test-nem. Then they can give it or even sell it to interested parties. I overtake, change password, delete test-nem account and import my account. That is what I would call "service".

To harvest? Or to run a supernode? Because if you just want to 'Harvest' > you can activate 'Delegated Harvesting'. This way you can Harvest even if you close your wallet. Just like joining a pool. You can find tutorials how to set up the Delegated Harvesting at the Nem Forum/Blog.

For those looking for profits, take the following rounded numbers into account:
Harvesting earns a return of 0,5%/year (based on transaction volume of last month) Supernode earns a return of 5%/year (based on payouts of the first month) Rise in XEM price earns a return of 1.000%/year (based ob the 24 month track record jabo38 talked about)
I vote the developers invest their time in developing new features (catapult, crypto apex, ...). These functionalities are needed for real life projects that will increase the usage of the network. That's what will provide the highest return.

Is it worth harvesting with 16k of XEM ?
No. If you have a lightweight computer you aren't using, just running NIS on a computer basically uses almost no electricity (although it does love RAM). I have a hot wallet tipping account with 22k and it occasionally gets a nice block. I think in the last 30 days it has made $2 at today's prices. You won't get rich, but if you have Raspi laying around, you don't have anything to lose. I definitely wouldn't set up a node on Amazon or something where you have to pay monthly fees.

Maybe he just will run delegated harvesting on some supernode, it will be for free?

... Is there any tutorial how to do that?
Raspberry tutorial you want ? PS: On Amazon you can get 1year free VPS per credit card i had 3 of them at once best tutorial is: https://forum.nem.io/t/create-a-windows-vps/1476You can choose ubuntu as well is faster. then you run scripts and in 1h you have your own free node for year https://github.com/Stoner19/Nem-Installers-masterPS: If you choose other people node just make sure from time to time that they did not reboot server. Supernodes will be updated everytime after new NIS realease
