The sooner, the cheaper. Buy cheap XEM now, and enjoy the trip to the Moon! Ok GuYs!, what happend?,, this rise is very very strange and unusual. We dont like insider trades. What are the news....
No insider trades, just more people waking up! More and more Asian investors are buying I think. We will see another spike when we are added to Zaif IMO > Competing with DAO and Litecoin when that happens. https://twitter.com/TakaoAsayama/status/746316907897184259Don't miss your ticket. Time to buy!

Will there be a XEM windows wallet? - non browser based
I believe so, but browser based makes it easier to run on any OS. the browser version sometimes is hard to sync

I believe so, but browser based makes it easier to run on any OS. the browser version sometimes is hard to sync OK, i have not had any issues with it, but the whole idea of supernodes is to allow you to run a lite wallet on your device and connect to a node on the network. This will be a huge step forward.

Obviously you need to trust the server you're connecting to since it's watching the chain for you and could theretically lie to you about it's contents. So while it could not steal any of your funds it would theretically be able to trick you into think e.g. a tx is there when it really isn't. To be clear: This is not a specific problem with NEM. In any blockchain if you're not keeping track of it yourself you have to trust the party that does this for you.

Android wallet will be nice for quick day to day transactions and carrying NEM...hopefully secure... Hope we see a downloadable QT style wallet for windows /linux/ mac

Hope we see a downloadable QT style wallet for windows /linux/ mac
That's what I hope to see comming one day. I have always a fight till nem is running on my always outdated browsers with all this nasty java (always wrong version) Don't understand how ppl can like java/browser systems. But I am not complaining. It looks good once it is started that I have to give. Just sold my first few nem's and I am very happy.

Thats why the price is going down Hehe. No. It's 1/10 of a stake only and most are pending orders above 2000 sat up tp 3000 sat. 10k to 20k I sold directly. Thing is ... I have seen it too often already that after a sharp rise a coin crashes deep. I should convert 1/4 stake to be safe on a crash but honestly I have a hard time to sell something I emotinal think has even more value. It's one of my weekness as trader I still haven't overcome completly and was costy in the past by not realised profits. On the other hand it prevents me from selling at points like 300 sat.

A QT wallet for NEM is never going to happen unless someone from the community builds one. What's being worked on are thin-clients that basically only use web technologies like html and js. So the plan afaik is to turn the lightwallet into a fullfledged, feature complete client and discontinue NCC down the line. At that point you have 2 scenarios: 1) People that aren't very technical can just download the lightwallet fire it up (and it'll work without anything because you literally only need a browser) and connect to a server that's already running somewhere on the planet (hence the supernode program). 2) People that are more tech savvy will run their own Servers to both support the network and be even more secure. In day to day life though when they're only making tx they'll also only be using the lightwallet. This will kick the usability up a considerable step. It should have been done a long time ago but manpower is limited.

Please don't. Because the standalone didn't work on my old PC I tried the light wallet and I had a very hard time with it and even more to remove it from my system. Without the standalone I can not use nem anymore. Always keep that Standard solution.

I've started local harvesting and got 2 blocks in about 3 hours. Then I activated delegated harvesting and connected to a remote node and got no blocks in two days. Today I activated delegated harvesting launching nis on my own machine and got 2 blocks in a couple of hours. Was it a coincidence or I was doing something wrong?

Sometimes people can reboot supper node if they update something, you just need to check if its running. If node have newest clinet is not nesesery to do it. hARVESTING IS RANDOM. Once i have 6-7 blocks a day once 0 once one transaction with 150xem fee once 10 in row with 0 reward.

I harvested my largest block last night, presumably due to the high trading volume.
I got over 250 XEM from one block! I know others have even harvested way more than that...

It's just deleting a few files since there is nothing being installed. Are you walking about the installer ?

Original post: "Wrongly accused “sock puppet” accounts - Request to the community" - https://forum.nem.io/t/wrongly-accused-sock-puppet-accounts-request-to-the-community/2373/11Dear fellow Nemsters, my father and I are initial BT stake holders. I did every step of the redemption correctly and received the adresses and private keys - everything was fine, at least I thought so.. Month later when I was trying to import them into the wallets they showed 0 XEM. I waited a few month before I first imported them because at the time of redemption the wallet system was still a test version, so I wanted to wait until there was a final version. A few weeks ago BloodyRrookie told me that apparently we became the victim of a last round of sock puppet elimination (I guess because I used my PC to complete the redemption process for both stakes - but of course I had to do this because my father was not able to do that, not everybody is a crypto bug, that should be clear). I tried to explain that and offered to provide any proof they need to see that we are legit (Just as a reminder: the rule was "one stake for you and one additional for a family member" or sth..). However BloodyRookie told me that it is too late to provide that proof and give us our rightful share because "if we did, the community would not accept that". I don't accept that argumentation! I know that they had to do sth about sock puppets, but if during the (flawed) process legitimate investors get wrongly accused that should be acknowledged and fixed. What do you guys think? I would like to open a discussion about how to handle wrongly accused investors like us - I am sure we are not the only ones! Thanks for your time.
