oh MY GOD

I just typed a three paragraph post only to be timed out (using new browser on the girlfriend's PC, forgot to edit the login settings)

AAARrrrrrrrrrrrrgGHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I'll keep it short this time:

Now that I'm a Jr. Member, does anyone have suggestions for a new signature?  XMG-related, of course - Magi is my one and only Kiss

My intended post was actually well written - a bit sentimental and sappy one moment, adrenaline-inducing the next; that Pulitzer Prize seems to have evaded my grasp once again...

Congrats Junior member. I think you can make a longer signature now!
You can try with this example

Oh man....1,000 XMG is a nice prize!  But how the hell can you 'win' a Minecraft competition? LOL....excuse my ignorance, I just never saw the appeal (years ago, when I first tried playing).  Would these games be something along the lines of....'competitive building'?  Or has minecraft evolved to the point where one could host PvP matches like this game?  I wish the fruits clan were hosting another Magi-sponsored competition in another game...but maybe I can hang out on one of your servers and plan something with you guys Wink

I've been meaning to set up a Magi clan/server for us gamers that play other online games (such as CS:S, CS:GO, TF2, Battlefield, etc.) but it'd probably be smarter to host a poll first to find out what people actually play  Grin  Not to mention, there are already counter strike & battlefield servers already hosted by thefruitsclan...

Hey 111magic, I'm sure you can offer some good advice - how can we best find out what online games everyone here plays?

wow...my steam account is over nine years old already...I don't know if that's something to be proud of or embarrassed about LOL

Can't use colors yet, and the length is still limited until I hit the next rank up!  I could use links now, but don't wanna miss out the next time a magical rain cloud comes my way, ya dig? Grin Grin

Something just a little alarming spotted today (but not to do with XMG fortunately) - on BTC-E exchange earlier today I noticed in the trollbox that a site admin was boasting that they had never been hacked. Now I just checked in and the site is offline for the first time ever from my point of view. It might just be coincidence of course, but then again ...

That's like leaving your laptop open and unlocked on your desk, as you go to the bathroom in the middle of OpSec 101 class

Is this normal for XMG multipool?

"new block found" every hash?  I know my GTX isn't anything great, but still...surprising

edit: JUST after posting that, I received my first (yay!!)...still only one accepted though

what is this?
you mine magi with GPU?

No! hehe of course, I mine Magi with CPU - that was an attempt to GPU mine on XMG multipool (converts BTC to XMG).

Top is CPU mining, bottom is GPU mining.

I'm trying GPU mining again right now, and testing a completely different algorithm and pool.  Still same results.  CPU mining runs great, as always.  But GPU mining any coin in any pool seems to return the same results - a couple khash/s, followed by new block detected.  I've only seen one successful hash today!

I understand using a GTX 550Ti isn't the best method, but shouldn't I be seeing a little bit higher success?

Thanks for the help Smiley

Quick question for the XMG multipool

Do I just let it run with the provided BTC address, then convert into XMG when I'm ready?

Also, for the config file - even with a GTX550Ti, I'm surprised at the sub-par results.

Can anyone help tweak my config file?

Code:
ccminer21.exe --algo=x11 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:3336 -u bitcoinadresshere -p x -d gtx550ti -t 1

Appreciate the help Grin Never used a pool similar to this before...
