If I staking, could I close qt client or must always open it? Thanks for reply. Voted magi because I like it, still wait new updated client.

I keep mine open and staking all the time - but apparently, you can still sake with the wallet open for 8 hours a day with the same reward. Didn't test it myself though

Which one are you using? I benchmarked the new(er) m-cpuminer against the older spexx miner and for me on 64bit i7's the spexx was about 10% faster. Could be different for your setup though...

There were some private GPU miners floating around at some point recently, I take it they're still not publicly available right?

Nothing I've seen as of yet regarding GPU - and I've been on the forums for a while. I'm mining cryptonote and XMG on the same CPU without a performance hit when I set the threads to physical cores on my i7's (with hyper threading) - not sure if the same will work for you... Doesn't work on i5's.

I have 4 cores, When mining XMR, I get the same hash rate mining on 4 cores as 8 cores (with HT), but when I use the remaining HT cores for XMG the XMR hash rate does't drop - meaning I can mine both XMR and XMG. Can't remember if there is a diff in Magi between 4 and 8 virtual cores.

I managed to pick up a few cheap magi today. The price dropped to 2727 on polo today, currently set at 2840. Its a great time for acquiring some extra magis right now, I wonder where the price will go next...

Volume is very nice on Bittrex and Poloniex! Need to get some volume on Nova exchange!

I've managed to accumulate almost enough to help out on the liquidity on nova now, If the current trend stays, I think I should have enough by next week - but will only will trade on BTC, its not a great exchange for low liquidity currencies as the funds can be split across multiple pairs.

Thats great Starmman. Magi should try to help everybody with a warm hart for our unique currency! The new give-away will be a picture contest. There will be a period for people to post pictures and after that period there will be a voting. Best pictures will win!
