Its not that hard if you know how.

i know there are nvidia an fpga miners but xmg is cpu only?

fpga boards are there hashing with very high hashrate with low power and gpu miners (high hashrate too) are held only private
they are around for months now

Haha, I've been banking on a BTC drop for a while - my BTC holdings on exchanges has started to drop as I'm acquiring more alts.

Question......my wallet is showing "WARNING: checkpoint is too old.  Wait for blockchain to download or contact developers."  Been like this for almost 2 days now, yesterday wiped everything from roaming folder except wallet and let blockchain download again, message came back up.

Any idea how to resolve?

Hey thanks man, much appreciated!  Had to laugh at myself, I started to reply I was running the latest wallet 1.2.3.1 then I thought I better double check before replying and make sure it was the latest....lol, hello 1.3:-)  I've honestly no idea how I missed that yesterday messing around with this!

Haha, you're welcome - hopefully you'll get synced to the blockchain pretty quickly if you didn't already. If I remember correctly 1.3 is still a release candidate - but most people are running it now. I suspect it will be officially released soon if it hasn't already.
