Any news on what's happening with Magi? Any new wallet versions in the pipeline? Any new features or support from additional quarters? Much as I love XMG and our community it's hard to not believe we've fallen stagnant

magic111 posted a few weeks ago that Joe was starting to get more involved again - it would be great to see a production release of v1.3

if there is anything the community can help with please ask - I'm sure there are lots of people willing to help out in whatever way they can which might speed things along a bit

Hey guys, apologies if I missed something here, haven't been keeping up in crypto for a while.

Got my POS wallets running on a new laptop recently and been wondering why my magi wallet hasn't been staking, I've updated to the new orca wallet listed in the op....just says not enough weight.

I just read this.....

This update includes the following hard forks:
PoS hard fork at block 131100 for better staking results (Expected on January 6)
PoS-II Protocol V2 hard fork at block 131300 (Expected on January 6)
PoW-V2 hard fork: 1/7/2015, 12:00:00 PM EST time (GMT-5:00)

According to my wallet I am on block 1,142,398 so something looks off to me, or there is perhaps in a typo in what was posted....but appears I am a million blocks off where I should be lol.

Missing something here?

Looks like you should be on the correct block chain, latest block is 1,142,421 - do you try using coin control to resend coins back to yourself. With magi weight reduces with confirmations

(Settings > Options > Display > Enable Coin Control)
(Send... > Inputs > Select all coins with confirmations > 20,000)
(Copy After Fee value > Send to your own address)

Yes, this is not the first time that it happened and it will not be the last one, like all of the alt coins, Magi price is directly related to BTC price, soon or later and because Magi have one of the strongest communitys out there, Magi price will grow up

Ohh i missed that change! But i like the stable value and slow grow also!  

It was only there for a few seconds - I had a few low and cheeky buy orders that were filled, I was pretty lucky =) We hit lows of ~1000 on June 6th and June 20th followed by a surge to ~4500

Looks like it - there is some speculation about secret meetings between the Chinese Government and the Chinese exchanges, which may be causing the sudden drop. Time to start accumulating BTC again soon. I'd expect the magi price to start moving upwards again very soon. The person with the 4 BTC wall at ~2000 may not be very happy if it all gets eaten and price rockets again...

That sounds awesome, I'm planning to support Nova a lot more once I have enough in Trex to help keep the volume a little higher. We'll need a huge amount of Magi online on nova exchange if its going to be a base market - but could really propel the coin forwards!

Great news again, two pieces of good news in a few hours - Magi is holding up well and will certainly keep growing with this kind of news. I'll try and post on Bitcoin Garden a bit more =)
