That's what a hard fork does?
no, they keep the coins. The Hard Fork just changes the wallet code so everyone has to update their wallet. What you described is called a "Rollback" which is NOT happening. |

my theory is every 6 months or so someone fires up a GPU farm on this coin, not relalizing not only are they just going to get a reduced reward, but also they are just gonna fork it eventually :/
Idk know if the coins i have now are valid after the 31st, ugh

Im not sure you completely understand XMG. 1. GPUs don't work, it is a CPU only algorithm, but yes it does reduce the reward if you overtax the blockchain with regards to mining. 2. This is a Code Fix HF, your coins are fine as long as you update your wallet. No rollbacks, coin doubling or anything like that. |
