Hey all. I've been using one of the pools that's up, xmgpool or something. So I hope I'm doing my share to get closer to that fork. Using a pi 3 with 3 to 5 hashrate depending on the minute Smiley

When the fork hits will I start earning or do I need to reset the pi3? I plan/hope to add more miners in the future Smiley

Most of the blocks will be orphaned anyway, so why not get to the hard fork so newbies can actually mine versus getting orphaned blocks. Massive hashing power is exactly what we need to get there. Otherwise, it could be days of orphan blocks till we get to 1606950.

Well, considering we're already ~1000 blocks away, I'd say we're doing just fine already. I know MinerClaim isn't running because they "want to make sure that everything runs smoothly and everyone gets their coins", and that by mining now we're "doing some server side manipulation". I don't see what that actually means, but it's most likely something above my paygrade and hashrate.

Can anybody tell what the hell is going on with mining? Why do the net hashrate is about 2 Kh/s, when total mining power at least 20 MH/s?
Where is the current network rate?
Which pool is normally mining now?
Is old miners working or we need some upgrade for mining soft?

Ufcorse, everything is possible. For now we just have to wait for block 1606950. Meanwhile please update your wallet to the latest.

Is there a pool running? I have several servers available to speed things around here.   Cool
https://poolinfo.systms.org
Check link above. Some pools are up & running, some will roll in after hardfork. Magi already receives confirmation from those!

Well I was mining (was trying to mine at least) at xpoolx few days ago and it worked pretty nice but then mining stopped same as before when "attack" happened.
But I got 2 or 3 coins at least and blocks were not orphaned. Last block was found at Jan 1.
If you check stats of those polls shown as "working" at your link you'll see that theres either no blocks or orphaned only since Jan 1.

Most blocks will be orphaned anyway untill fork is complete.

Running pools will show with amount of miners and hashrate of the pool.

You're right sir, thats why I set miners off on all PCs Smiley
P.S. For some guy was asking earlier: Ryzen 1700X ~ 5820K (I have both), 120-140 khash/s with e=60...70 (allows CPU to do everything else you need except gaming or rendering while staying warm, not even hot)

hello, I've been reading in some internet forum and I managed to observe that a PI3 has a hash rate of 11 kh / s, who can confirm this ?, greetings ....

https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@dury10/cpu-mining-use-your-cpu-to-make-money-online-with-an-eco-friendly-algorithm

Thy this, this guy has several running.

Yes, I'm running a few PI3 with pi64 OS. Getting 11.35 kh /s .. temp is at ~60 , I have fans installed.

thanks friend pierre, you are a sun
and experiment with overclock settings if you have the cooling, you can get an extra 2-3kh's with a little overclock and config, most important is power supply that id noticed, all mine were running at different speeds and i couldnt figure out why, wasnt until i bought a set of cables with a decent powered usb hub that i found out most of the older charger wires that i was using couldnt supply enough current for the pi3 to run properly

just out of interest have you tried overclocking and running it at 100% to see what the max hashrate is?

Will not try to overclock cuz I have potato-grade cooler but will check what hashrate I can get with e=100 when mining will be possible.
I'd not expect more than roughly 20-30% additional hashrate anyway (compared to e=70).

People asked for windows 32 => https://ufile.io/s84u2

Sorry to ask stupid questions but I am changeing my wallet onto a new computer which is 32 bit but I can’t seem to find the folder where I put the folder with the blockchain into. Also can I restore the old wallet through the backup on the new wallet or do i have to send my coins to the new wallet address from my old wallet. cheers

well, i cant speak for him but i can give you numbers based on my results with a 1600 overclocked, assuming perfect scaling across cores. My 1600 at 3.9 and 3200 memory manages around 150-160 kh/s, or roughly 26.6 kh/s per core, or 13.3 per thread. Assuming good scaling, that puts a 1700 right around 210 kh/sec. I did a more in depth post waay earlier in the thread, if you want to see the whole post, I checked and its from August 1 2017.

Did you make a wallet backup?
If yes than you keep the same address & your coins will be there!

I've just deposited on YoBit without seeing that it is on Wallet Maintenance. Will those funds be credited once it's fixed? When will it be fixed?

Thanks.
