Hello,

i have a question about solo mining. I have configured my wallet conf like this:

daemon=1
server=1
listen=1
rpcport=8232
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=pass

Everything works out fine, i can connect and start solo mining. Every hour or so i get an windows notification about incomming transactions but they never show up in the wallet. Is there somethin i am doing wrong?

thank you in advance  Smiley

Please quote this post & add working pool in it!
That way i can see what pool i need to contact to inform about new releases. Thanks in advance.
https://xmg.bullmining.com -> Wallet has been updated at Bulllmining.com. Pool is running well.

Only 700 Blocks left until the hard fork occurs!

Hey - I know nobody is really using it right now due to the management change - but does anybody know if the Nova Exchance wallet has been / will be updated?

If they get back on track, they could be running on the old chain...

You can run it with by typing "~/m-wallet-1.4.5.1-linux/bin/32/m-wallet" no matter what directory you are in.

It's a GUI program.

So, I have reimaged by XU4, downloaded the M-Wallet and extracted the files. I have moved them to a slightly more "user friendly" location for getting too.

Anyway, I still can't get this thing to run.  Here are some of the commands I tried with no luck:

odroid@odroid:~$ ~/m-wallet-1451/bin/32/m-wallet
bash: /home/odroid/m-wallet-1451/bin/32/m-wallet: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error

odroid@odroid:~$ sudo ~/m-wallet-1451/bin/32/m-wallet
[sudo] password for odroid:
/home/odroid/m-wallet-1451/bin/32/m-wallet: 1: /home/odroid/m-wallet-1451/bin/32/m-wallet: Syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")")

odroid@odroid:~$ "~/m-wallet-1451/bin/32/m-wallet"
bash: ~/m-wallet-1451/bin/32/m-wallet: No such file or directory

Odriod is ARM cpu arch right?

If so then the x86 compiled programs won't work. Then you need to compile the wallet for ARM

I did a bit of research and found that sometimes that 'Exec format error' can occur when you are trying to run the wrong type of programe (i.e. you are trying to run the 32-bit on a 64-bit platform).  So I changed the command to try and run 'm-wallet' in the 64 directory - this is what happened:

odroid@odroid:~$ sudo ~/m-wallet-1451/bin/64/m-wallet
/home/odroid/m-wallet-1451/bin/64/m-wallet: 1: /home/odroid/m-wallet-1451/bin/64/m-wallet: : not found
/home/odroid/m-wallet-1451/bin/64/m-wallet: 1: /home/odroid/m-wallet-1451/bin/64/m-wallet: : not found
/home/odroid/m-wallet-1451/bin/64/m-wallet: 2: /home/odroid/m-wallet-1451/bin/64/m-wallet: pp
                   p
                      TT@T@DD: not found
/home/odroid/m-wallet-1451/bin/64/m-wallet: 1: /home/odroid/m-wallet-1451/bin/64/m-wallet: : not found
/home/odroid/m-wallet-1451/bin/64/m-wallet: 1: /home/odroid/m-wallet-1451/bin/64/m-wallet: ELF: not found
/home/odroid/m-wallet-1451/bin/64/m-wallet: 13: /home/odroid/m-wallet-1451/bin/64/m-wallet: Syntax error: "(" unexpected

Keep in mind that the Odroid XU4 is an ARM processor - the primary one being a Cortex A15:
http://www.hardkernel.com/main/products/prdt_info.php?g_code=G143452239825
https://developer.arm.com/products/processors/cortex-a/cortex-a15

I've also seen references to "commits".  Do I need to do this before trying to run 'm-wallet'?

Yes, is ARM. So you'll need to compile wallet with ARM

This is something I suspected. So what is the process for "compiling"? I believe I know the best CFLAGS to use for my processor type, as per this article:
https://www.phoronix.com/scan.php?page=news_item&px=MTI0MjI

And there's this one:
https://gcc.gnu.org/onlinedocs/gcc/ARM-Options.html

Can anyone help me get back my 143xmg from Bittrex? Bittriex havent replied to support ticket. Having trouble with verification and want to get my coins back. If i cant all my hard mining is gone Sad

Hi,

If it is verification because you lost two factor or password it will take time, but eventually it will be solved. For me it took less than a week to fix two factor, but then i provided all the necesary documentation up front which saved time.
If coins were sendt to wrong address you probably will not get it back unfortunately. In crypto we are responsible for our own mistakes.

Check what architecture you have with uname -a

then just compile with make -f makefile.unix xCPUARCH=armv6l
or whatever CPUARCH you have

Thanks for this. But where do I run this command? In the same folder where 'm-wallet' is?

I notice that there are quite a few MakeFile files around the place in my installation.

Should be run in src folder (provided you pulled it from git sources).

I'm going to say that's a no. In regards to "provided you pulled it from git sources" - by "it" do you mean the m-wallet?  If so, then no - I just downloaded the Linux wallet from the m-core.org website.

In regards to the SRC folder, there's quite a few on them in my installation. So do you know which one specifically?

In 'File System/usr/src' I have two folders:
- linux-headers-4.14.5-92
- linux-headers-4.14.11-97

I assume that the ..11-97 folder is the newer version.  Anyway, inside that folder is a MakeFile file already.  There is also a /usr/ folder which has a MakeFile file in it already also.

Any ideas?

I'm heading to bed as it's close to 1am here and I need to rest my brain... again...  Smiley

I wouldn't download it from website for obvious reasons.
They are compiled for either "normal" windows or linux users.
For users with raspberry PI or odroid etc you'll need to compile the program yourself from (github) source.

Not sure what odroid os is using, but would be more or less same as raspberry pi,
you could check
https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@gridcat/how-to-install-coin-magi-wallet-on-your-raspberry-pi
for guidance and adjust if needed for your odroid setup

Good luck  Roll Eyes  Only change architecture to cortex-a15, or whatever uname -a says.
