Guys,
If anyone wants to have a little fun mining MagiCoin, i have a great little rig for you to try.

Minimum of 3 hours, so about as cheap as can be.
Try it, you might get lucky.

Since i'm new to renting out, and just testing, i am only charging for a hashrate of 200kh/s.
This is well below the pool user limits, but actually i'm finding my avg rate is more like 230kh/s.
I've also set the price to 2% less than recommended, so grab a bargin whilst i'm feeling generous.

J

http://rig.rent/rigs/89027

About $6.10/day. That sounds like an awesome deal - for you Roll Eyes

Here's a little reality check on your offer. During this past week, I've averaged 7.1XMG/day, this is with 1 MH of mining power. Let's be really generous and call your rig 250KH, it would have averaged 1.775XMD/day. 1XMG=$0.239093 X 1.775 = $0.424390075/day. Great deal. Let me offer a better deal to anyone interested. I will, because of my generous nature, happily sell a $1 bill to anyone who wants one for just $10  Grin

Dok, How much for 2 $10 bills?  Wink Grin

I managed to get past my previous problem, and got my P2Pool running after many little issues, but I have another problem now lol.

P2Pool connects to magid and hands out shares correctly to my workers, but when I finally get a block it says it is generated in the P2Pool frontend, but doesn't appear in chainz.crptoid.  magid is sending an error when the block is sent ..

I checked on cryptoid and the block version is 6.  On P2Pool transaction the block version is 4.  I don't know if this is the issue, or something more complex.  I'm running Ubuntu 16.4 and have tried P2Pool-master and P2Pool-feldenthorne and they both do the same thing. Oh and I have installed magi-hash also.
Any ideas anyone ??

Hey, I watched a video on YT explaining that CPU mining is not worth it, I'll leave my 2 GTX 1060 in basement for mining, it's more trustworthy.  Wink
How about my 6 RX470 mining for Magi? Is that still profitable at current? Would you mind giving me some tools for calculation? Thank.

I would say that your RX470 don't matter because magi is a CPU coin. Or there is already a GPU miner for magi?

I'm very interested to getting this going, but barely have time to look into atm; will make some tries whenever I'm able to. If someone else can help, that will be great.

Ultra low trading volume:

Not sure what's going on - seems like a lot of alt trading has dried up its trailing off on pretty much every coin I'm trading - my trading profits are way down. all the action seems to be on BTC/USD

A temporary reduction in trading is no emergency. But Bittrex have delisted coins before, that would really hurt for the holders!
Tried mining but did not earn enough to be worth it, but i like the coin so hope it improves soon Smiley

Can you please elaborate a bit more, the block I'm mining is just being rejected based on P2Pool not submitting the block in the correct format. (I think) The block should be accepted, but being wrong format, then whoever else gets it next does.

I bought "some" more XMG at the current low, and started staking with all my coins(no more short term trading). It works pretty good and the gains seem to be more or less constant. And needs MUCH less energy than my mining setup. The gains are lower, BUT if you calculate the energy costs, it's a neat setup (and even more if you think of holding XMG long term).

Two thumbs up for Magi's POS. Grin

Can anyone help in how to do mining ?

Choose an or try different CPU-miner.
Choose a pool to mine on; set up your miner to that pool and go  Wink

You can also solo mine but it depends on your CPU(s) and hash rate.

The network get consolidated since update and network weight increased, so does the PoS interest.

Just wondering,

Why people dont actually click on links and go find things out without asking loads of questions?
My guess is its MMR and i dont really see what the specs have to do with anything., surely it will either do as he suggests, or not.
Oh, and my other guess would be cpu, since its a cpu only mineable coin, but i could be wrong Smiley
