Personally I am watching less markets when it drops. I am not selling but there is now some pain - therefore it is better to live in denial I guess and stay more offline and do other stuff.  Cheesy

Now in every second or third topic/post in bitcointalk monero is mentioned. Every BTC and Altcoin whale is afraid of Monero and is trying to somehow drive the price down. Monero is the most popular altcoin now and only gets stronger day by day.  The price is going to the moon soon.  One month before XMR was mentioned in like one in 10 topics. Now just fasten your seatbelts. The ETH Marketcap goal is next in line this year.

Remember eth.

XMR can follow the ETH movement.

0.034 Why not?
Well, I like to see that but I am losing my interest on buying the XMR now because it constantly drop, I already lost a lot of money trading as I was expecting it will reach even more than the price you have mentioned.

Was a big mistake. I can understand that you sell when you are -5% but when you already in a big loss and considering the chart it was not good to sell now. XMR will def. not go below 145. It will raise soon and the next big run is already in sight (with my chart analysis)

I'm not selling but I'm still watching.  There is no pain.  This is because I follow the development of both the tech and ecosystem and doing so is an analgesic.  The lower price is starting to get tempting and I almost bought some at the local low last night but being exhausted I didn't.

Monero just had a 50% correction, to be expected after the run up. I would like to see .015 hold for a good while.

I hope there will no more panic sellers so it can bounce back between .0175 to .020 again.

Low volume != panic selling

Low volume as compared to the volume that took the price up to 0.026. 7k-9k 24 volume even on the low end is crazy high 24 hour volume only a couple months ago.

It has been consistent 10k+ 24 hour volume at the very least. But that is low in retrospect to the volume of the bull move (100k+ btc vol).

The legendary Fontas is cautiously bullish on XMR. Predicts a V bottom, followed by a long drawn out bear market.

https://www.tradingview.com/chart/XMRBTC/1RaAMKMF-Monero-XMR-flush-toilet-time/

10 days ago that was posted...

we were supposed to hit 0.01 days ago.

Where is the 0.01 coins?

Hardly a crash if volume  of the decline < volume of the rise.

Where's the crash?

Perhaps font-ass doesn't follow the fundamentals of XMR and of course should be assumed to be just a pumper and dumper.

XMR fundamentals much stronger than fontas can imagine.

starting to look like a reversal:  higher high, higher low, on the 5 minute, now confirmed on the 15 minute.

this may be our french weekend.

You are expecting a rise?

Not expecting, just observing.  It's not an idiomatic expression, but rather a reference to the coverage in Le Monde.  A lot of francophones just got exposed to XMR.  Generally, after a new demographic exposure event, the week-end is strong.

I think it's a reference to the article in Le Monde, which may result in additional participation (ie panic buys) from our chums in the Francosphere.

Being a contrarian, I'd say most of the tech savvy French who would care to be in Monero are already aboard, as they follow crypto developments very closely and read English well enough to have been aware of Cryptonote.

At best, the LM article may induce some casuals to ask their edgelord friends to acquire XMR on their behalf.

The Chinese community and exchanges, being more linguistically/culturally segregated and numerous, promise to shift the bulk of XMR trading volume eastward, as they have done with gold, etc.

EDIT:

For all us adoption fetishists, something to keep in mind...

Higher lows and higher highs, anyhow.  That's a change for the better, and a good set-up for the weekend.

I have noticed that there are some people that I would assume are part of the Monero team who are defending the current price movements. I ask you this, does the price really matter to you if it is low or high?

Personally I feel mental pain when the price drops even though my stack is not relatively speaking that large and well above the water, but is is decent though. It is actually bigger than my "stable" (if there is any stability in crypto) stack of bitcoins.
The best cure is to ignore the markets then.

Acting in a rational manner like you are doing is the best way to make money. Buy when it is cheap.

It will go up at some point so no point to sell, and no reason to sell when it rises because chances are it goes quite high and if you sell too early you may never get the opportunity to rebuy lower than you paid.

I've been buying since 0188 and will continue.  There's about 150k XMR available cheap now.  That won't last long.  This is the biggest shake-out in history.  Since 1/2015 any how.

In other speculations, who do you think will be the next U.S. president, Kaine or Pence?

Some CEOs say they don't care about their stock price more or less and some hype it outright and both are methods to increase the price of the stock.

I'd say if they own XMR the price matters and also helps funding for XMR development.

Hi guys,

i checked AlphaBay again and have unfortunately not so good news.

few days before i said

Quote
I checked also out Stimulants -> 23171 offers. 560 accept Monero. Its only 2,41%

today there are only 435 offers accepting Monero by 23338 offers overall. So only 1,86%

So we lost 23% acceptance.

I sold my XMR stock for now.
