Grabbed a few more at this price but it kinda really hurts.

Reminds self ...
think long term!

Grin

Buy when there's blood in the streets, even if the blood is your own.

Yep, I've been cost averaging for almost 2 years now after starting from scratch after alphabay. Smiley

I don't even want o know how much underwater I am. Cheesy

lol im holding monero for 3 years now i aint selling. Such a great project. The developers work with vision, something lots of companies lack on.

People are slow, eventually they will catch on.

I just finished getting my coins off of binance and into cold storage and it took me less than 2 cents per transaction and the first few transactions were already confirmed before I even finished them all. Smiley

Damn this chain works great!

Crosspost from WO:

XMR/BTC just made a nose dive.

https://www.tradingview.com/chart/DL4HQwBW/

0.0083. I care because it is the only notable altcoin I hodl (Less than %1) and I think it is not really shit. Globb0 do something.  Shocked

Institutions supporting transparent chains and trying to trash the only real opaque one.

The winners will be those that get them at this price.

They attack that which they fear.

They are probably dumping Polo coins they seized and causing weak hands to crack like little foolish eggs.

Came into this thread to read about the reasons for the decline of XMR, but here are the last two pages are so much flooding that I absolutely did not understand the reasons why so Monero collapsed in a time when everyone was waiting for him lift. Can anyone make any suggestions about this?

censorship via insiders causing lack of confidence.  Roll Eyes   this is a centralized shitcoin.

I'm glad someone else speaks trollbot, I just read that as, "Price, why U no go higher!??!" not as some treatise on censorship--because everyone knows speculation forum talk controls the pricing...

On a serious note, you have a weird idea of centralization.

Surprised the btc pairing sunk so low, people were confident it would hold at .01 and now its looking like .05 is possible.  I would be very hesitant to buy right now.

Quoting myself from Reddit:

Quote
An insane amount of margin longs have been (or are in the process of) liquidated on Poloniex (check the wicks on the 1m chart). I'd wager there has been more than 100k XMR liquidated on Poloniex in the last 24 hours. As I said in another comment, this may be a necessarily evil to eventually end the bearmarket in XMR/BTC.

And:

Quote
Alts are basically getting slaughtered by the Bitcoin stampede. In Monero, the slaughter is amplified by an insane amount of margin long liquidations (check the Poloniex charts). Perhaps this is a necessary evil required to eventually end the bearmarket in XMR/BTC.

Additionally, fundamentals have improved significantly over the last 1-2 years, but that has basically been ignored due to the prolonged bearmarket. I am certain they will shine eventually though.

Privacy matters, use Monero - A true untraceable cryptocurrency

If someone can take time and check how much top altcoins lost against Bitcoin in last 3 months when BTC was $4k or last 2 weeks when bitcoin was $8k . I am sure Monero is holding best or is at least at the ones that lost least.  Maybe I will go make this list, but since know what will be results it would be so boring.
