Someone posted this on reddit, from the Tari telegram, when asked about the regulatory white paper:

"Very close here - we hope to confirm the publication date this week. Whitepaper + short form version in Bloomberg Law and a Harvard journal"

That will not be developers news but a news that usually move market. Seems we will have fun summer.

Im not in a rush to exit Monero

Exiting would be a fools errand, that's how you get left out in the cold!
don't ask me how I KNOW!!! TM

But with this continual down pressure trying to increase your holdings while BTC is pumping is not the riskiest en-devour in the world. But like I stated earlier if Monero is barting while BTC is pumping the chance of it spiking when BTC settles back to the bart train is high.

This aged well.

I have this funny feeling.  And I do not want to jinx us.

I feel like Monero is on the verge of a renaissance.

There are only a handful of blockchains worth being run.

Monero is one of the few with the use case.

Does something BTC cannot unlike most other projects where BTC can just inherit the features.
Regulatory whitepaper coming soon.
Atomic swaps with BTC conceptualized, and possible?
Continual improvements to the processing/space requirements.
Also uniquely secure because of it's hash algorithm.

I bet the folks like Fidelity Digital are deep diving all the other chains, and I cannot see how they would not come to the conclusion that this is one of the few worthy BTC compliments.

I say hang on tight.

Hah the sells keep getting lower volume, but its a setup. those faggots that stole cpoins from exchanges with kny keep dumping to kill confidance. expect a big dump...but donm't let it shake your coins loose.

Remember Monero will only mine 18 Million!

To be honest, I would rather use it because it has good privacy futures, regardless of what the price is lol

It's not bad to do it for both. It's nice to have something valuable in your pockets, something with value increasing day by day and nobody knows (unless you really want to show them) how much you actually HOLD.

One reason Monero is a sleeper is it never took the position that it was going to be "digital gold".  It's not designed to pump always.  It is designed to be fungible crypto.  From what I can see it prioritizes privicy in transactions first, and privacy in holdings a close second.  The only reason I say second is I do not think the community and developers were exactly going for the store of value idea first, but the obscured value TRANSFER first.  The "swiss bank account" part is just along for the ride.

I mean I suppose Ricardo could have been disingenuous when he was always saying "don't hold Monero, spend it".  That ridiculous wookie on twitter certainly thought it was all an act.  But I think the priority for Monero has ALWAYS been private TRANSACTIONS.

But the side effect I see is people will start to realize that if it is the industry standard for private transactions, then why be constantly shifting into and out of it?

If we get those atomic swaps actually working it should be VERY interesting... wonder how far out THAT is?

If that's the goal, it's obvious that BTC's the crypto to hold rn as it's outperforming everything.  But the moment it plateau's and holders start to get iffy with their bags, that's when they start dabbling with alts...

A lot of crypto shitposting news sites now write articles about the regulatory whitepaper.  Probably is good since there is no bad news in crypto. It does not really matter what they write in the articles.

But there is another similar news:

https://www.coincenter.org/comments-to-the-office-of-the-comptroller-of-the-currency-on-national-bank-and-federal-savings-association-digital-activities/

Love this part. And dont understand why is not obvious to most people on this forum.

You beat me to it. I just read this article: https://cointelegraph.com/news/industry-calls-on-us-regulator-to-open-floodgates-on-banks-crypto-capabilities

It's smart for this industry group to lump together a traceable "privacy" coin (ZEC), with the only real privacy coin (XMR). Instead of being the competitor we imagined, ZEC might end up being a trojan horse for greater XMR acceptance (and higher prices  Cheesy)

It sounds like the new head of the OCC is very open to allowing cryptocurrency integration into the banking system. After all, they just made that decision allowing banks to custody crypto.

Imagine banks dealing in XMR lol. It may not be so far-fetched.

Can you imagine banks dealing in any other cryptocurrency? I dont. Bank customers need privacy. Banks themself need privacy towards other banks. Everyone needs privacy.

we are prodding nicely. Look consecutive daily green closes.

Seems we may be pushing into the previous (big) resistence level if we can keep this up.

I am feeling rather bullish.  Signs are that Monero will do well in the coming bull market.  Going up against BTC when BTC is doing its thing is just the perfect storm.  We have been there before, it's not just hopium.

Of course for Globb0, hopefully some of this rise will be in time for a certain special event.  Be a nice pressie, eh?

Looking good.  And it already broke out against fiat around beginning of April or so and slowly kept continuing that trend.  Price could be around at least 200 USD by December.
