I didn't want to cause false hope and maybe prepare for some more shares before the rush starts, but the third block definitely caught my attention, as well!
I'll just go gather some numbers from fc's prior announcements and do some calculations. If we find a new block, I guess we can start some extrapolations. Don't get your hopes too high just yet, though!

Nice observation... probably just luck... but one can hope  At a supposed 60 TH/s, the variance must of been extreme to find those 3 blocks by chance. March is coming around, it's about time for another announcement. |

I think its impossible to go from tapeout to working miners in ~10 days. |

iirc gen3 datacenter will be 1ph once filled with new chips. 3 blocks is nothing compared to what it will be with 1ph.
Is there really only going to be one data center with a total of 1PH? I thought we had a 10% network capacity target? I think you may be confusing friedcat's interview where he expected to have 1ph online by the end of 2013 with Gen2 that fizzled. Even that quote had some contention as there was confusion on the translation... I would expect much more than 1ph out of Gen3. I've not been following this security for a while so please, correct me if I'm wrong. |

re 5) Capacity is at least 1P.
AM also has an air cooled datacenter + franchising. I would guess they end up mining with 5ph. |

It means they can partner with franchisees who will take care of physically locating the container, feeding in power and internet access, as well as taking care of operations and maintenance. |

Getting close to March, crossing my fingers for an announcement.
No doubt it has been asked before, but would the hashrate of the initial/'benchmarking' gen3 chips even be noticeable?
(by this I mean the sample chips that Friedcat and his team first get back from the factory to test)

Just to add guys our speculation is also based on the fact that FC takes the saying "Underpromise and overdeliever" too far most of the time.

I believe, that now is the tipping point for AM. Sales will begin soon, maybe we will see also mining improvements and later divs increasing in a abrupt manner .
