Does anyone know average H/s & power draw for stock R9 380 4Gb? Miner ver 7.0 ofc.
I found some used ones on sale for cheap, so considering to buy.
Thanks

If you pay for electricity IMO you should not buy them. Too much power consumption for ~120H/s.

Not worth. 390 is far better

FOR RENT.

Has anyone else experienced an issue with Claymore ZCash Miner v7.0 regarding only one of the GPU's working at half it's strength?

http://imgur.com/e9ufHz7

These three rigs are using all 480 8GB Sapphire Nitro+ cards.

All of the Sol/s is great except that one...

I have hard reset, checked all the cables, removed the overclock, and switched the bios yet nothing will budge it.

No matter what I do; I can't bring it up to speed. The lazy swine.

Does anyone have any suggests?

I had this issue at the beginning on 2 of my rigs too. As soon as I remote connected into them one of the GPUs started top mine only at half speed. After I disconnected and waited for 10-20 minutes everything was restored to the normal speed.

maybe try to put a monitor on this card

Does it have to be a monitor or can it just be a adaptor?  Sure I read earlier in the thread people have been using cheap adaptors from ebay/amazon to help fix this.

For me an adaptator never work only, custom adaptator maybe or dummy plug like this

You know that they talking about RX480 cards...you post link to DVI dummy!?

You guys using low end cpu's?
I bought a bunch of different fx cpu's that I will test out this week on some new builds.

I'll give it ago. This machine has never had this issue before. This is one of the remote only setup's that has never required a monitor/adapter plugged in with Claymore's miners before. Nothing has changed bar the update v6 to v7. Seems strange that out of 18 cards, on 3 remote rigs that only 1 is now working at half strength.

I was previously advised this too however even with a fresh reboot / no remote in, it still does it. So strange. I've been waiting for 15 hours for it to restore to normal speed  Tongue

Yes, G1840. However the three rigs, in the picture, are identical. Seems strange that out of 3 builds, 18 cards, only 1 GPU is being lazy.

Yes. Nearly the same power consumption but the hashrate is double. (The price of the card is also double... and the size and weight also Cheesy )

I don't know if hdmi-vga dummy plug will work on rx 480.. but I use old monitor with vga connector & connect it to my sapphire nitro rx 480 4gb with hdmi to vga adapter.. and it works.. i can play game or mining normally..

here's the hdmi to vga adapter i use:

maybe we can also make dummy plug with this adapter using resistors like in dvi to vga dummy plug... like this one:

Has anyone intercepted the miner network packets? I have a 480 running at 180 as reported by the miner but as reported by the 24 hour average by the pool the average is 162. I'm switching pools to identify where the thief is. There's about 10 sols missing.

Can someone pinch me, I must be still asleep dreaming...

Yup... and already now back down to almost all-time low lol.  It's beyond me how the ZEC dev team can release with crap Z wallets that i do not believe have been working for even 1 days since its release!  Until they get that fixed I cant see the price of ZEC really increasing at all.  Think about it... why would people invest in a crypto that has has huge functionality issues (with those Z wallets) since day 1?  Luckily, I had set up a "t" wallet from the start through Bittrex but even with that, I lost out big time (relatively). Back around the first week when 1 ZEC was about 1 BTC, I had mined a nominal amount of ZEC.  But, at that time, even the T wallets were not working through Bittrex, so I could not sell the measly .1 ZEC i had mined.  Granted, it only woulda netted me about $70 at the time, but now that same .1 ZEC is worth a laughable $6!  This case is not material dollars but for people with large numbers of rigs, not so immaterial.

I use these same ones, they work good.  If you don't have monitor, sometimes can't see temperatures, and some cards for some reason the clockspeeds don't ramp up like they should without monitor, it's weird, and usually you don't need monitor/emulator.  You can get one, and use for multiple rigs, after it is plugged in it usually stays.  Makes remote desktop better also. If you have an APU, you can plug monitor into that, since its an AMD GPU.  It's an oddity of the driver....
