For those, who need comparison data and inerested in Claymore miner progress  Smiley

vX - version of Zcash miner

GPU                   v8     v7     v6    v5   v4   v3   v2

7870                110     95     65   55   40   35   32
7950                180   155   125   95   70   45   38
7970                200   165   120   95   65   55   48
270x                115   100     67   55   40   35   32
280x                200   165   125   90   65   60   51
285                  125   110     85   70   40   36   32
RX 470 4Gb      175   155   145   120  70   60   50

Could you share RX 470 config. Mine just 152 on V8.

What level -i are you using and are you using the -nofee switch?

I can get 170h/s with fee enable and about 158 with the fee switched off using -i6.

Anyone in their right mind would not use the -nofee option, it's slower than with the fee......

I agree but just wanted to check the speed difference.

NO additional settings exept pool, -tt and -mport

Different Vendors (Gigabyte, Powercolor, ASUS) all stock, but BIOS mod timings (was done for ETH).

P.S. That feeling when you accidentally post message while editing it, fix errors, but people start quoting unedited message Sad

I wonder if its your ETH bios settings.

I wonder if its your ETH bios settings.

I edited original stock BIOS of each card with timings, so ALL setting are stock (~1200 core/ 6600 memory).

Bravo Claymore!

v8 now gives me R9 390 = 270 H/s per card!

Updates:

R9 290 = 268 H/s

R9 290x = 278 H/s

RX 480 = 172 H/s

R9 Nano = 278 H/s

R7 370 = 110 H/s

Breaking 305 h/s on my xfx 390x's.  It's the 1060mhz 8gb ones.

I do have something odd happen on some rigs. Tahitis with3gb ram. Some will do intensity 6 some say not enough ram setting intensity 5.  I've ran the usual setx commands.  Not really an issue persay. Overall excellent improvements. Thanks claymore

Edit. Figured it out. Those rigs that set intensity 5 on tahiti 3gb have the dummy plug in them. So I assume it uses a bit too much ram for display purposes.

2*200 H/s from both RX480's (reference and Gigabyte G1). Stock GPU freq/voltage, 2100Mhz / "1750->2000" strap RAM. So far so good.

the rigs are offsite - will post when I access them tomorrow morning.

I updated remotely all the rigs that are with 1600w PSUs = 7x 370s, 5 x 390s, 6 x Nanos, and 6 x 480s.

With CDM v7.4, these rigs are mining ETH full speed, ethi 16 and nearly 80-85% of PSU.

But with CZM v7, these rigs are well under 65-70% of PSU.

Hope the CZM v8 doesnt reach CDM power draw because CZM runs with less heat and significantly lower power -  and all these good points will be neutralised when CZM v8 equals CDM v7.4 powerdraw.

i just burned a small psu in a rig with 8.0 which was fine with 7.0 (i knew it was at the brink of its capabilities).
No regrets.. it was an old one.

but beware: Definatly usage power increase in this version.

where did you get this grafic?

I built an API layer that allows me to switch between whatever (gpu) coin is (currently) the most profitable automatically.
The graphing is just a "nice to look at". I wouldn't mind people using it but I suspect it will land up being DDOS'd rather quickly.

Sometimes  after few hours or days, with Claymore V7 or V8, One fan of my 6 RX 480 RIG, goes up to 95%, instead of 60%. A reboot solve the problem. Do you know why ?
