1280. I started undervolting with 1075v, now I am at 1025v... I dont think it can go any lower. 1000gpu/1450mem. its stable for last 24h.

thanks for the info, i'll test it with my rig
currently i'm 115h/s at 1080/1500mhz...
Hey guys,

One of my rigs is r7 370's (Pitcairn)

After the latest update in my Win 10
for some reason whenever i start Claymore v8 it crashes right after it starts

Any ideas? (without rolling back to pre-update)

Thanks

Did you updated your drivers? that could be the problem... if you did, try cleaning up with DDU.

I heard that w10 is the worst OS for our "hobby"... and also for privacy.

Thanks for your input
Unfortunately i have already done this process with DDU and re-installing drivers and it didn't work Sad

v7, driver 16.11.2, -i 4

Win 7 64bit
290 1000/1250 - 217 Sol/s ~180W
280 1000/1500 - 150 Sol/s ~130W

Win 8.1 64bit
370 1175/1500 - 98 Sol/s

v8, -i 6
290 from 217 to 274 Sol/s ~200W
280 from 150 to 190 Sol/s ~140W
370 from 98 to 128 Sol/s

v8 -i 3 power usage seems to be about the same as with -i 4 on v7 so the new version is ~25% more power efficient.
Intensity 3-4 seem to be the best - only a bit slower than 5 and 6, but 5 consumes more watts and 6 even much more

280     290    whole PC watts (baseline is 103W without mining)
-i 0   179     254    409
-i 1   181     254    410
-i 2   185     264    416
-i 3   187     271    419
-i 4   188     272    423
-i 5   189     273    429
-i 6   190     274    443

v8.0:

- improved speed by about 15-25% (depends on card model). Up to 300H/s on stock 390X.
- added "-i 5" and "-i 6" values, 1-2% speedup, but can be unstable in some cases.
- now remote management is working in read-only mode by default.
- some bug fixes and minor improvements.

We are waiting v.9))))) Would you do that version or will be waiting for other miners?
and Rx4.. card... can it surprise us?

Upgrades are worthless (imho)
It was the great stuff at the beginning, but currently, with the current network hashrate is pointless...

you just get a few bucks (or cents) more ,for a 6 - 12 hours lapse, until all the network is updated to the latest version, and the diff stabilizes again, and you start getting the same income...

but it's great to see how developers are working nowadays on their sw, the dev fees are juicy.. and they deserve it.
It's like old btc days.

note: let claymore take a breath (for a few days)..  Grin

2Gb version not necessary,
I have HD7850 1Gb it work fine 95sol on v8

Hmmm, guess I should try at least one of my 7750s then.

For that matter, I'll have to see what it does on the A10-7860K in the rig I'm currently working on.

I'm no longer legendary just in my own mind!

Tonga it's the problem, by itself...
It was close to be a scam, from amd...

They said Tonga was going to replace the aged Tahiti.... but they were just kiddin'

the  HD 7870 is based from the AMD Pitcairn family of chips. The AMD 7870, AMD8870 and AMD 270x are the same chip but with different DirectX requirments..  The AMD HD 7750 is from the Cape Verde chips which is only 512 shaders in therory should be at 40s/h using V8 on zcash  if you have the 2gb verison

My 7770s (1 GB) are doing 53 sol/s right now.

why GPU 5 get 32h/s .
OCed too much.
Check this card alone on stock clocks.

99% you need to plug a monitor in that card because it stays at ULP frequencies (for RX it is 300/300).
After that, you can unplug it and it won't happen again.

The R7 370 is pretty much the same thing as the 7870 or a refit of the 270 . i had a 7870 i throw a way just before Zcash came out had i known then when i know now that 7870 would be back in service and not at the  dump wasting a way or were ever it went in the thrash .
