sometimes when i touch my cards it reboots. I think the miner does it when something is not well connected. Did u try to put this in your config file?

"-r -1"  It will disable reboot mode
It seems like turning the fan speed up was the most stable.
But i'll try -r -1.
Thanks again.

Edit: Crashed with -r -1 on normal settings.

Super stable with fan speed at 65%...

Install MSI Afterburner and set custom fan curves, I found a few of my gpu's were crashing also at anywhere from 75-80 above.. this should fix most of your crashes I think

You could try downclocking slightly, even perhaps 10 MHz.  Transistors work better at lower temps, but if temp is causing crash, it seems it is at the edge of stability anyway.   75-80 is slightly high for my liking long term for the longevity of cards, but should be fine as long as it is below 80C.  What are temps with fans 65%?

My shares are halved on flypool. Anyone knows the reason? On other pools had somebody experience the same?

Read recent posts... They increased share difficulty from 1000 to 2000.  So half the shares, but shares worth twice as much.  Reasoning is to reduce network usage and server resource usage.  If difficulty to low, hoards of tiny shares occur.  Many pools auto adjust difficulty based on your hashrate, but in the end it doesn't really matter how many shares you submit, just your hashes that the pool sees.  I mine on suprnova, 6 470s, the share diff is over 10,000, because pool auto adjusts, it starts at 272, flooding tiny shares, then it adjusts.

GPU 0: 53C
GPU 1: 48C

I was monitoring temps on the cards, and i think it might be the risers that are shutting off from heat? Because the cards never read above 70c.

A10-7860k  bit over 11/s
Not going to reboot the machine just to see if it's at 757 Mhz or 800 clock. Memory is DDR3-2166.

Not exactly impressive but I get a bit more out of it than on Gridcoin.

May i ask what the point of mining at 11S/s is? I mean, that's not even going to break power cost...

Yeh optiminer is claiming rx 480 stock speeds 185 s/s so he has same speed as Claymore when dev fee is taken into account it seems

Optiminer's increase is about 20% from previous version
Good increase for the Linux guys

Still that is a bit less than Claymore v. 7 when we are at v.8 for Windows people

Optiminer is 1 & a half step behind Claymore

I wouldn't mind if competition picked up again....

XFX pro 850W 80+ bronze
box says 2x 6/8 pin, 2x 6-pin, 24-pin mobo, 8-pin cpu along with abunch of molex and SATA connectors.

You can try to plug one 6-pin and one 8-pin plug to your card.
Or you can look for PCI-E 6 to 8 pin adapter, like this one

Thx for your help, gonna order a couple of those right now.

@bardacuda good luck mate, tell us how it went

well im using different types of reductions/splitters and it works well for me as i added 1x r9 290 to another 3x r9 390.... had the same problem that no free port on the PSU ...  Lips sealed

sorry for the late response Cheesy   GL

May i ask what the point of mining at 11S/s is? I mean, that's not even going to break power cost...

 1) The GPU side of a A10-7860K only uses about 15 watts.
 2) I'm in an uncommon situation on my lease where my power cost is fixed (as long as I don't run it up a LOT) due to why I ended up where I'm at right now.
 3) 11/s might not earn a lot but it's still a bit over $3/month right now.
 4) I'd be running that GPU on something else anyway, so the power usage isn't going to change even if I WAS paying for every watt specifically instead of generally.
 5) That rig also has a HD 7750 in it, so the total for the rig is almost 60/sec (it also has 2 GTX 1070 doing something else).

 As far as the 4x 280x rig - is the GPU 0 on a 16-bit PCI-E slot, or perhaps a PCI-E 3.0 while the others are on smaller/slower PCI-E?
We need MORE INFORMATION to make an informed guess as to what the issue (if any) is.
Among other things, is it more than a couple percent faster?

Power usage is not the same. If you are not paying for power then 390 are the best. Else the RX470 is better. Which brand did you get? I read that msi and PowerColor is highest sols if you do the memory mod. Also you can run 6 RX470 from one 1200w psu. Saving you the cost of a second psu.

I got rx470's from xfx and if i will buy r9 390's from sapphire nitro. 1 rig will run at my home other is probably gonna run at university's lab up to May 20. So I'm thinking about placing r9 390's to university since electricity is free and they will give nice profit and also teachers will be happy about showing it since no body in the school isn't know neither blockchains nor crypto currencies. And also I'm curious about psu for r9 390's psu or psu's gonna cost me too much i guess.

May I ask for little help?
I'm new to mining and have 2xSapphire Nitro+ RX480 8Gb OC version. On stock settings I get about 195-200 sols/s - about 350W from wall

Can you recommend me better settings for OC  (if not better sols is possible, then lower power consumption)

Thanks

My settings with the rx 480 nitro + OC are gpu 1280 mhz / 1035 mV  and mem 2235 mhz 990mV
Temps 70 °C
i 2

Pushing around 188 - 201 H/S

130 W at wall for one card

Overclock higher than 1340 mhz only make sense if you got free electricity.. maybe they push 210 - 215 h/S with 1400 mhz gpu but wattage is too high

One guy here said he got beyond 250 H/s with that Red devil rx 480 card
This card has much higher TDP but wattage is way over 250 Watt
